About the property

Located at heart of the Valpolicella vineyards, Casa Rosa is a newly refurbished farmhouse and it is part of an ancient and vast wine estate. It is situated at the edge of a plain from which you can admire beautiful sunsets. Guided bicycle tours are available on request. The closest town is the romantic and lovely city of Verona (15Km away) and it is only 20Km from spectacular Garda lake. The airport is just 17Km away.

Quiet little farm house in beautiful Valpolicella

  • 5 of 5

We visited the property with six total guests and found the house was the perfect size for the number of guests we had. The home was clean and comfortable. There is a grocery store near by which was convenient. The beds were comfortable. We never ran out of hot water even with six of us showering in the morning. We used this home as a home base to explore Valpolicella, Prosecco Road, Bolzano, Alto Adige, Lake Garda, and Verona. It was a great central location for driving to all of these places. I would recommend the home for families, couples, or friends. The only negative thing is that there are wood floors throughout which can be a bit noisy. You can hear pretty much everything throughout the house.

Owner's Response: Thankyou for the nice review . The sound of the wooden floor is a caracteristic of the old original pavement and an aspect of the authenticity of the place .

A Very Special Place

Authentic Italian farmhouse that is even more stunning than the pictures. We have been traveling throughout Italy and Casa Rosa was by far the most spacious and amenity laden. The bedrooms were large with very comfortable beds and down comforters. Anna was so gracious meeting us in the town to help us find our way to the house. The landscape was private, breathtaking and had great views of the surrounding towns and mountains. We went to local wineries, drove to Lake Garda and went into the Verona Christmas market. You cannot go wrong with Casa Rosa. We hope to return soon.

Comfortable and charming farmhouse.

  • 5 of 5

This home was just delightful. We used it as a home base for day trips to Bologna, Verona, Bassano del Grappa, and Venice. Gia warmly welcomed us to the house and to the village, actually showing us where the market was and providing maps and other literature about the area. Clean home with lots of room. We were two couples but three couples or two families with children would have plenty of space. Delightful inground pool, spotless. Lovely views. Can't say enough good things about the experience. Five nights wasn't enough. I would love to spend time there again. Very highly recommend.

Luxurious, spacious, superbly appointed villa

  • 5 of 5

We had a superb stay at Casa Rosa - certainly one of the best properties we have ever stayed in. All mod cons whilst balancing this with some lovely antique furniture it really was as good as the pictures suggested. 4 very large double bedrooms made sure the whole family were catered for. Kitchen really well appointed and good stock of basic provisions to save you having to buy everything from scratch for cooking. Nice BBQ and small pool to cool down at the end of the day. Really nice garden and sitting area to enjoy an Aperol Spritzer or two of an evening. Extensive source of wild basil and other herbs too.

Made a really good base to explore the area. We ran out of time as there was so much to explore. Property made a good base and gave chance to get away from the busy crowds in Garda. Verona is beautiful as were other surrounding towns such as Soave and Vicenza. Lots of Vineyards in the area - we had a good free tasting at the nearby Masi Estate. lake Garda only 25 mins away and lots to do and see!

Giada was an excellent host and made sure we were okay throughout the holiday and was very helpful in kindly providing plenty of tourist information! She even kindly gave us a guided tour to show us where the local supermarket and bakery were. No quibble refund of our security deposit too. Thanks so much Giada.

Thoroughly recommended - you won't be disappointed.
