Beautiful large villa situated on the 4 Star Ponta Grande Resort.
Each villa offers a large living space, marble fireplace, full sized kitchen with a Dishwasher, two bedrooms, 2 sofa beds & two newly refurbished bathrooms, private terrace with a glass table and six chairs, air conditioning, satellite TV with few english channels, dvd player. Within this beautiful and tranquil vacation resort you will enjoy the exclusive use of two magnificent swimming pools. One pool for adults and the other for children. The resort also offers a playground for the younger guests, a tennis court, a games room (pool, video games), giant chess, spa facilities, laundry facilities, restaurant, bar, mini-market and free parking. WIFI is available free in public areas and at an additional cost from reception (dongle) for use within the villa.

The beautiful Sao Rafael beach is a 5-10 min walk away and the Salgados Golf Course is only a few minutes drive.

The Algarve shopping centre is a 15 min drive and has a cinema and a food court. There is BBQ and live entertainment in the high season at Seasons Restaurant and Sports bar located on the resort. Reception can also arrange taxis to Albufeira which has abundant restaurants and nightlife, discounted golf, day trips and visits to local attractions. All staff at the resort are efficient and friendly and have excellent knowledge of the local area.

Lovely family getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Villa was excellently located. Close to a few restaurants (O Marinheiro was fantastic) and a short walk to some lovely beaches. We didn't hire a car, instead taking ubers to the local supermarket and into the old town. Pool was big with plenty of loungers. Villa had everything we needed and was nice and spacious. The complex offered good snacks and our son enjoyed the evening entertainment. Perhaps the villa could do with a bit of updating but for the price we really can't complain!

Clean, comfortable and quiet!

We really enjoyed our stay here with our just under 2yr old. It was clean and fresh with oodles of space for a family. The outdoor terrace was lovely. It was a quiet space and really close to the pool. Hosts always responsive / helpful with any questions. Well equipped kitchen for basic cooking needs (minus a corkscrew!) Including dishwasher tabs, tea towels, washing up liquid etc. Pool area lovely and ideal for little people. A lovely relaxing holiday. Two things of note is we packed extra towels as the document sent out specified there was no towels however we found the place to be stocked with towels. There is also private wifi in the house which was a bonus!

Fantastic villa in great location on superb complex!

Fantastic villa on a fabulous complex. We had an excellent time and would certainly plan to return. Based in a quiet location yet easy walking distance to the beach and short Uber ride to the Marina and Old Town! The complex is spotless and the sports bar offers great food, sports and some fantastic tribute acts. All in all a fantastic holiday would thoroughly recommend.

Ponta Grande

Very nice villa, friendly staff at resort, excellent food and lots of facilities. Resort is well placed for families who do not wish to hire a car as it is in walking distance of some really good beaches, the owner keeps good communication with the guests and quickly irons out any problems that arise.
