Great base from which to explore Kildare

  • 3 of 5

We stayed in the converted stables adjoining the house and found it clean with everything we needed. The furnishings were a bit dated and we would have appreciated more than one pillow each but the showers were excellent. There was no one at the main house, which looked like it was lived in by a family who were maybe on holiday. It didn't look like it was available for hire but we never saw anyone so that is just the impression we got. There was a gorgeous little cat my daughter fell in love with and someone clearly came by to feed her each day. Overall it was a lovely rural base for our holiday and we enjoyed exploring Dublin and Kildare.

A beautiful safe rural retreat.

  • 5 of 5

I would definately recommend this property to anyone. I wanted somewhere to bring my 86yr old father and it was perfect. A downstairs bedroom with double bed and it's own en suite. Perfect for one who cannot climb stairs. Everything was clean and tidy and the owner was more than eager to help with anything I asked. Upstairs was two double bedrooms and there was masses of wardrobe space. The whole stable conversion was very professionally carried out and tastefully furnished. I felt totally safe in this beautiful rural retreat.
