Large house on 5000 sq. metre plot easy 12 minute walk to beach on footpath

Large newly built (2009) bright house within 12 minute walk to large sandy beach (playa de santa marina).

It is located 6 minutes walk to nearest bar/restaurant and an 8 minutes walk to large supermarket. (All these distances 2 - 3 minutes by car).

Ribadesella with its large selection of bars and restaurants is a 20 minute walk . The house is completely private, set on its own very large plot of 5000 sq metres (over an acre) and enjoys views to the Picos de Europa mountain range.

Asturias' airport is an hour drive to the West and Santander's airport/ferry port is just over an hour by car to the East. Both are connected to Ribadesella by motorway.

The nearby beach called Playa Santa Marina is one of the prettiest in Asturias and has a long smooth promenade dotted with beautiful turn of the century mansions known as 'casonas indianas'. One end of beach is suitable for surfers, the other end is more protected and best for swimming.

The famous Camino Santiago coastal route passes within 300 metres of house. Berbes golf course, with its stunning views to sea is 6 kms. away. Llanes golf course is 22 kms

excellent property and location

A wonderful stay for 2 families at this property. Completely practical when you have have 4 lively children with plenty of space. Location of property was excellent with easy walk into Ribadesella and supermarket just a short drive away. Highly recommend.

Brilliant

Just stay for a week, myself and 5 friends, we all went by motorbike.

The house is exactly as described easy to find and a great location for touring the area, We spent most of our time in the Pecos Mountains but the beaches looked superb if you were going a bit later in the year, best part of Spain I have ever been to.

The house is a credit to its owner.

Would recommend for any sort of holiday.

Ideal y equipada para un grupo

Hemos pasado una semana en esta casa y nos agradó su buen equipamiento (hasta con bicicletas) y amplitud. Al ser 5 adultos y tres niños, no siempre es fácil encontrar un sitio agradable y preparado para acoger a un grupo, y desde luego que ésta casa lo es.

Ya conocíamos Asturias, y nos gusta mucho como para repetir; en este viaje, la simpatía del dueño y sus indicaciones nos parecieron geniales y contribuyeron a que nuestra estancia estuviera completada con descubrimientos tanto de lugares como gastronómicos. El lugar donde se encuentra la casa, a pesar de estar cerca de la población (apenas 10 o 12 minutos andando) es especialmente tranquilo y con árboles alrededor (hasta tuvimos la suerte de ver un corzo entre ellos ).

Este Oriente de Asturias es particularmente variado entre playas, montañas, lugares de interés... y hay tanto que nos dejamos pendiente, que es una buena razón para volver sin dudarlo.

Very nice roomy house in lovely location

Very nice bright well equipped house. It had everything from bicycles to surf board, very well equipped kitchen and very comfortable beds. walking distance to bars, town and beach. Well worth a visit.

Very comfortable house in great location

Roomy, bright, comfortable and very well equipped. Location was perfect - everything was walkable or cyclable (bicycles provided at house). Very comfortable beds, great to have barbecue just out the kitchen, lots of room to park 5 o6 cars or more if needed. The garden is enormous so ideal for loud, unruly games for kids - lots of places to play hide and seek. Spotted two deer in garden one morning early - overall a great holiday.

Beautiful house, fantastic location.

The house has the feel of being situated in a peaceful forest clearing but is minutes away from the beach and Ribadesella town. It is very spacious, clean, well maintained and equipped. It is an excellent base for exploring the coast, towns and the mountains, with plenty of places to go on day trips. I would happily recommend the property to friends.

Very peaceful setting in enormous garden surrounded by eucalyptus and oak trees. Wild boar and deer can be spotted in the garden if you are up early enough in the morning. South facing house gets sunshine all day long.

Large newly built, (2009) bright house near Ribadesella's long sandy Santa Marina beach - footpath runs past front of house all the way to beach (12 minute walk) and in the other direction up to Tereñes village (6 minute walk) which has three bar/restaurants. Footpath and cycle path all the way into Ribadesella town centre (20 minute walk). Within 300 metres of Camino de Santiago coastal route.Short walk to nearest bar/restaurant which has spectacular sea and cliff views from its beer and cider garden (see one of photos) and also walking distance to large supermarket (7 minute walk). All these distances 2 - 3 minutes by car.

Berbes golf course within 5 minute drive. Dinosaur museum at Colunga is a 15 minute drive.

Large selection of some of the most spectacular beaches in Spain closeby e.g. Niembro, Torimbia, Barro, Vega and Gulpiyuri. Roman bridge at Cangas de Onis 15 kms away. Covadonga 25 minute drive. Famous Cares gorge walk half an hour drive inland.

Golf: Berbes golf course is an easy 6 km drive. Also within easy reach is Llanes municipal golf course - both courses with stunning views to sea.
