Spacious Victorian home
We enjoyed our lengthy stay in this midtown Victorian home. The location was ideal for us, just a few blocks from the restaurants and stores of Yonge Street, and a pleasant walk to the subway stop. Ray and Kathy were excellent landlords. We occupied three floors (basement, ground floor, and second floor) while they stayed in a third-floor apartment. Anytime there was a problem, Ray who is quite a handyman came and immediately made the repair. The decor is impressive, particularly for anyone who enjoys the Victorian period. There are lovely stained glass windows throughout the house, which is adorned with period-appropriate figurines and other items. During the summer months we swam in the backyard pool and made good use of the barbeque equipment. We also appreciated the considerable amount of space this house offered: three bedrooms and room in the basement for a study. All in all, we were pleased to find this place while our own house was under renovation.
