LATINA BRICK (STREET RELATORES 22)
I am renting out my charming apartment LATINA BRICK in Madrid. This is a fully renovated and newly furnished airy two bedroom, two bathroom apartment in a brick townhouse. The master bedroom has it's own bath while the second bedroom on the other side of the living room has a bath adjacent. It's fully furnished with a high end kitchen and bathrooms, and a washer/drying in the unit (yay!). This is the hottest area of Madrid to live at the moment, the subway is just down the block. This fully furnished apartment features exposed brick and stone walls and high ceilings. The decor is sleek and modern while maintaining a comfortable and welcoming feeling.

About the Owner
MADRID is the place to be!!!! I am a world traveler who prefers to stay at vacation rental properties because there is nothing more than having a place you can call home. What better way to soak up the local culture than to feel a part of the neighborhood? This is what I extend to my guests when they stay at my place. For those who want to be more than just a tourist passing by, you will find living in LATINA PALACE and LATINA SOL an experience you will never forget.

This property is exactly the way it looks in the pictures. I wouldn't say it is just clean, rather, I would say it is pristine. Madrid was our first time to experience Spain and I have to say of all the places we went Madrid was our very favorite. I feel sure our beautiful, comfortable accommodations contributed to the overall positive experience we had there. Almost immediately we were wishing we had planned more time in that wonderful city. The apartment is located just steps away from many wonderful restaurants. It's a lively and vibrant area of the city. Literally every place we wanted to visit was within walking distance and, at the same time, when we needed to get a taxi to take us to the train station that too was just a short walk to the corner. You could not hope for a more helpful and delightful hostess. We kept in touch with her mostly through texts, she answered our questions right away. She was also the source of much useful information. We would most definitely love to return to Madrid some day and stay here again.
Great Apartment in a Great Location!!!
This is the best apartment we have stayed in. It was so well- equipped and felt like being at home. All the sights are within walking distance and the metro was easy to negotiate. There was everything we needed.... Crockery, shower gel, toilet paper etc...... All the basics and more so we didn't need to buy anything except food and drinks! So many thoughtful touches! The showers were AMAZING too! We found some great tapas bars near the apartment in the side streets with beautiful tiled, traditional interiors and exteriors and loved eating and drinking in the market too! So sad to leave this morning and desperate to return to the apartment again in the near future! It's a gem..... A little haven beneath the stars in a vibrant city that really never sleeps! Thank you for your hospitality and a great 5 nights vacation! I forgot to mention the apartment is SO spacious, luxurious and has VERY comfortable beds!!! The air conditioning was a blessing in the soaring August heat!
Very nice property in a convenient location
La Latina Brick was very nice and comfortable. The location is within walking distance of most of the major attractions. It is about a 15 minute walk to LaTocha train station, and It is just around the block from the metro; however, we were a little disappointed because line 1, (which is the metro closest to the apartment), was non-operational, so we had to walk about 5 minutes to get the metro. Both Sol and La Latina are about 5 minutes away. Line 1 of the metro is closed for four months for repairs. I think it reopens in November 2016.
The apartment had everything we needed and was very comfortable for the two of us. The kitchen is well-stocked, and there are several grocery stores within easy walking distance (one is at the end of the street), so it was nice to be able to cook a few meals at home. The larger bedroom has two single beds that are next to each other and an en-suite bathroom. The other bedroom is a bit smaller with a double bed. The bath for it is off of the entry hall. There is nice storage in both bedrooms. The washer and dryer were very nice as were the other appliances in the apartment. Having a dishwasher was also a bonus. All of the basic supplies (soap, paper towels, basic spices, etc.) were supplied. We stayed at the apartment for a week and did not run out of any basic supplies.
Carmen was very helpful and gave us good suggestions and help while we were there. She suggested using a cab to the airport and even made arrangements for one to pick us up, though cabs are plentiful on the streets. Everything to make our stay pleasant (how to use the keys and appliances, for example) was explained when we arrived.
There is an elevator, though we did not use it much since the apartment is on the 1st floor (2nd floor in the US). We would recommend Latina Brick for future travelers.
The apartment was clean and very comfortable for the four adults staying there.
Great location, close to major sights and numerous good restaurants making it easy to walk everywhere we wanted to go! We look forward to staying again when we return to Madrid at the end of our five week vacation.
Very good, we were impressed not only by the excellent location but also the amenities in the flat, down to the lavatory paper, to the dishwasher tablets. The owner was very good to let us in early & responded, very promptly to a slight problem we had.
We would thoroughly recommend this flat & would return again.
Superb stay at Carmen's Latina Brick
The Latina Brick was the perfect place for our family of 4. Carmen cheerfully met us & walked us through the place, explaining things as we went. The place is very comfortable and well appointed, with 2br & 2ba. It is across the street from a youth hostel, so sometimes young people milling about, talking in the street below, but no problems there. We definitely appreciated the a/c (it was 90+ degrees outside), very fast wifi, the washer/dryer combo (we were in the middle of a 3 week trip, so a relief to wash clothes)and the central location (only 8 min walk to Plaza Major). The building is also very quiet and the beds quite comfortable. A great coffee/pastry shop & a grocery store at the end of the street, plus a metro stop and many cafes close by. I would highly recommend this flat to a family or friends.

Activity and Interests
There are a huge number of things to do in Madrid, but it is often the famous Madrid shopping streets that lure people into renting Madrid accommodation. The fashion boutiques and local craft shops which adorn the central business district mean that shopping holidays in Madrid are never far from the top of the list for shopping destinations. The huge range of styles and cuisine of Madrid restaurants also helps to keep energy levels high, and fantastic cooking courses lasting between a single session and a whole week can easily be arranged. The medieval centre of Madrid hides many fantastic monuments. Those taking a Madrid weekend break are best staying in accommodation close to the historic centre, as there is so much here that you can fit a huge amount into just a short Madrid city break. The ‘big three’ museums in Madrid, the Prado, Thyssen and Reina Sofia, hold famous collections of art, and tourism in Madrid is often centred around the Puerta del Sol right in the city centre.
