About the Owner
MADRID is the place to be!!!! I am a world traveler who prefers to stay at vacation rental properties because there is nothing more than having a place you can call home. What better way to soak up the local culture than to feel a part of the neighborhood? This is what I extend to my guests when they stay at my place. For those who want to be more than just a tourist passing by, you will find living in LATINA PALACE and LATINA SOL an experience you will never forget.
Guestbook comments from the manager
We spent 5 beautiful days from the 13th to the 17th in Madrid. Sol has already expected us with the arrival, the processing is uncomplicated. The house (Santa Ana 5persons) is very clean top, well furnished, and has a well fitted out kitchen. The position is great, one can reach a lot on foot. With radiant blue sky we had a mad short trip. Barbara "Wir verbrachten 5 wunderschöne Tage vom 13.-17 in Madrid. Sol hat uns bei der Ankunft schon erwartet, die Abwicklung ist unkompliziert. Die Wohnung (Santa Ana 5Personen) ist top, gut eingerichtet, sehr sauber und hat eine gut ausgestattete Küche. Die Lage ist super, man kann vieles zu Fuß erreichen . Mit strahlend blauem Himmel hatten wir einen tollen Kurzurlaub. Barbara"

Convenient, Cozy, and Comfortable
We stayed here for a few nights in April, 2016. The location is great, close to Plaza Mayor and several subway stops going to different parts of Madrid. A bakery downstairs is very good, and a good size grocery store is a couple of blocks away. The neighborhood is active and safe but not too noisy. The check-in was a bit troublesome as we didn't have a local phone to call the Point of Contact, and we had to wait a bit longer than expected. But other than that, everything went great. The apartment is what's shown in the pictures and had everything we needed. It is not spacious but not crowded even for a family of four with two teens. When I had trouble using the oven and sent an inquiry email, the host came immediately and helped fix the problem. We'd stay here again when next time in town. Gracias!
Beautifully designed, super clean apartment with elevator. Always felt safe in the neighborhood, even late at night. Great location near Metro, museums, shopping, plazas for food and drink. Comfortable bed, towels, and critical for us, a washing machine that was easy to operate. We would definitely rent this apartment again!
This apartment is clean, modern and perfectly located within Madrid.
We loved Madrid and Sol was excellent in giving restaurant advice! We started our trip in Madrid and stayed in the Latina Brick apartment. That was not available when we returned 5 weeks later, so we agreed to take this cozier apartment - even though we were four adults and had to share the bathroom! That did not hamper our fun as we were not in the apartment much each day - too busy seeing the sights, eating tapas, drinking wine, etc. Thank you for making our trip so comfortable and special. We hope to return to Madrid in future and will definitely contact you first for accommodation.
Very nice, spacious, well maintained, central location
I had a very nice 4 day stay at this apartment with my family of four. The location was great. It is right in the center of Madrid and very close to the Metro. We were able to walk to the art museums, parks, shopping, restaurants and everywhere we wanted to go. Carmen met us at the apartment when we arrived to give us the keys and instructions. She gave us tips for restaurants and sightseeing. I would recommend this property for a lovely stay in Madrid.
Well situated, clean and well-equipped
Spent five days in this apartment. Walking distance to nearly everything for good walkers. Taxi stand nearby for others. Elevator. Grocery stores right nearby. Short walk to Playa Mayor. Very clean and well-working appliances and complete kitchenware unlike many other places we have rented where we had to be very creative.
Welcome from Carmen efficient, friendly and full of information on visiting Madrid. Comfortable beds. Apartment A bit small but quite adequate. Thank you, Sol and Carmen.

Nice location, clean, and great air conditioning!
We really enjoyed our stay in Madrid. Someone met us at the apartment and gave us a map and a nice orientation to the city with personalized recommendations (where to shop, eat, etc). The apartment was clean, spacious, and well lit. The air conditioning worked great, which I'm mentioning because the city was really hot when we were there- in late August. It was nice to be able to come back for a siesta in the cool apartment. The apartment is in a nice area for tapas and about a block from a flea market that takes place on Sundays.

Activity and Interests
There are a huge number of things to do in Madrid, but it is often the famous Madrid shopping streets that lure people into renting Madrid accommodation. The fashion boutiques and local craft shops which adorn the central business district mean that shopping holidays in Madrid are never far from the top of the list for shopping destinations. The huge range of styles and cuisine of Madrid restaurants also helps to keep energy levels high, and fantastic cooking courses lasting between a single session and a whole week can easily be arranged. The medieval centre of Madrid hides many fantastic monuments. Those taking a Madrid weekend break are best staying in accommodation close to the historic centre, as there is so much here that you can fit a huge amount into just a short Madrid city break. The ‘big three’ museums in Madrid, the Prado, Thyssen and Reina Sofia, hold famous collections of art, and tourism in Madrid is often centred around the Puerta del Sol right in the city centre.
