A Lovely Villa
We stayed for 5 nights in mid may. The villa is in a secluded location with scenic views but within easy walking distance of Benabbio village which has 2 good restaurants. Florence, Pisa and Lucca within easy reach. Very helpful owners.

Beautiful Tuscan house with fantastic views
The location was idyllic and we soon got used to the road up the hill and visited Lucca, Pisa, Florence, Barga, Montecatini, not to mention vineyards, a cave/grotto and a villa where Napoleon's sister had lived. The rooms were spacious and all modern conveniences were provided. We made full use of the lovely pool as we visited during a heatwave. Plenty of shady areas were appreciated. A fabulous afternoon and evening were spent being taught to make pasta and sauces by Enzo. The restaurant in the village provided traditional and delicious food on our last evening. We will never forget the sunsets and the occasional early morning misty sunrise. Celia and Enzo were very helpful and friendly and arranged for the delivery of initial provisions and a meal and gave useful tips on restaurants, shopping, parking and routes to take. We fully endorse their choices of ice cream establishments. An unforgettable holiday.

Super holiday - glorious views over the mountains
Wonderful traditional Tuscan farmhouse, with a private pool and stunning views over the mountains beyond. Celia and Enzo were very attentive hosts and extremely helpful at answering any queries, whilst allowing you to enjoy your holiday in peace. Really recommend the fabulous pasta cooking classes! Property and pool very clean on arrival and were also cleaned well during our stay. Recommend the grocery and meal delivery service on arrival. Florence is 1.5 hour drive away and highly recommended - you can benefit from Celia and Enzo's local knowledge of where to park in the city centre, etc. Lucca very near, as is Pisa, so lots of high profile attractions to visit. The boys and their Dad loved cycling round the Lucca city walls, whilst the girls went shopping!! Highly recommend a stay in this beautiful farmhouse in a gorgeous part of Italy.

Beautiful traditional farmhouse in a stunning location.
We were a large family group - seven adults and two babies under two and we stayed for a week at the end of May. We were not disappointed. Celia and Enzo were the perfect hosts and ensured our stay went without any hitches. The views were magnificent from every window and eating outside with the view spread in front of us was like being in a film set! The weather was varied but there was plenty to do in the area. The two year old loved the Wendy house and was very happy to have so many toys available to play with in her room. We enjoyed the walk to the village where the small grocers had enough to keep us going and there were a couple of supermarkets in Bagni so we could stock up. We enjoyed a day at the beach and a day in Lucca. Lucca is a beautiful walled city and was a delight to walk around - even in the rain! My 89 year old mother in law particularly liked wondering around the town - so much so she went twice! I would certainly recommend the farmhouse - not the place to go if you want everything modern and contemporary but if you want to enjoy the pleasures of a rural holiday in a comfortable farmhouse with magnificent views, then you will not be disappointed.

The perfect place for a relaxing, farniente vacati
Nestled among the chestnut and olive trees in the hills above Bagni di Lucca, Le Mura is a large, impeccably restored and maintained 17th century farmhouse that provides a relaxing retreat from the cares of this world, while offering every modern amenity. The views are stunning, the quiet soothing and the walks to nearby Benabbio invigorating. While the solar-heated pool and terraced gardens are enough to make you stay put, the villa’s location also offers a convenient jumping-off point for the region’s many attractions. Celia and Enzo are the perfect hosts, and their cuisine, using local ingredients, is a real delight, especially when served on the large outdoor table overlooking the valley and those spectacular views. Enjoying Tuscan wine and quiet conversation as dusk falls over the hills is truly magical – we’ll be coming back again and again.
