This is a stylish new build (July 08) first floor luxury apartment with two bedrooms and two bathrooms and secure private parking. The apartment has a large balcony overlooking the sea and beach. The property is adjacent to the newly refurbished Cooden Beach Hotel and Spa giving the option, if desired of full hotel facilities. Cooden is just two miles west of Bexhill-on-Sea with its world renowned cultural De La Warr Pavilion that also has a first class lunchtime restuarant, miles of un-crowded beaches, picturesque Old Town and surrounding 1066 countryside. Bexhill was one of the top 10 UK beach resorts chosen by travel writer Frank Barrett. The property is short walk from the excellent Cooden Beach golf club. Eastbourne and Brighton are a short convenient train journey from just outside the Hotel and the ancient Historic town of Battle is about a 15 minute drive.

lovely place to relax with a sea view

I would certainly recommend this property to a friend or relative. Everything was as described and there were no unpleasant surprises. The property was very clean, well-maintained, well-equipped and tastefully decorated and above all very comfortable. (I would suggest that families with very small children would possibly be a little anxious about the pale carpets in the bedrooms). The property is on the first floor and there is a lift. The property is in a great location being right on the beach with the convenience of the train station directly behind it. You could easily holiday here without a car. Bexhill is just 5 minutes away by train and Hastings and Eastbourne a little further in opposite directions. The trains were incredibly quiet and did not disturb us at all. The greeting and property 'tour' from Peter, the agent, was much appreciated as was the 'welcome pack' of food essentials and the availability of basic household consumables if needed. The booking process was friendly and efficient. We hope to return one day.

Cooden Beach Apartment

This is a fabulous apartment in a great location. Wonderful views of the sea, quiet and relaxing. There is easy access to the beach and the train station immediately behind the apartments give easy transport to Eastbourne, Hastings and even Brighton if you want.

The apartment is wonderfully appointed with every thing you could want for a superb holiday.

We cannot praise it enough and would love to come back in the future.

Perfect place to relax

Great location.

Nice stroll along the beach to Bexhill.

Fantastic just to sit and enjoy at the view.

Everything in the details correct.Very spacious apartment. Very clean. All the equipment you need in the kitchen, which we did put to use.We did walk to the De La Warr Pavilion but didn't eat out.

We enjoyed the outlook so much we were just happy being there.

Paul very helpful on the phone and gave us all the information we needed.

Peter who met us was a weath of information.

Train station close by excellent service from Cooden Beach to Eastbourne, Gatwick, East Croydon and London.

So the location makes a perfect weekend get away.

Outstanding Accommodation

My wife and I have stayed at many holiday rentals over the years and this is without doubt the finest place we have had the pleasure to rent.

Fantastically furbished and equipped in an outstanding location.

Peter, who met us was very helpful and friendly and Paul & Paula Beckett very nice people.

I would strongly recommend this apartment and would without doubt want to return.

superb apartment

This is a superb apartment. We were really impressed with the facilities, standard of decor, and indeed the very welcome touch of leaving bread, milk, fruit etc. etc. The position was wonderful with a panoramic view of the sea from the balcony & the lounge area via the large patio doors. Whilst wedidn't use the train, the station couldn't be more convenient (but having said that, there was no noise!)

Bexhill & Eastbourne are close for Restaurants & the Hotel next door also provided a good quality restaurant.

Sunny Victorian Eastbourne with all its shops and attractions is only a few minutes on the train and has many annual events including the international Lawn Tennis Tournament and the now famous airborne show held in August. The accommodation although on the first floor also has lift access. The car can be left immediately outside with barrier secure parking, plus there is video entry system. The spacious living area is complimented by a large balcony with uninterrupted views of the English Channel and Beachy Head. The apartment is furnished to the highest standard with a 37” Freesat HD flat screen TV and DVD player, Gaggia coffee machine, plus the usual microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, oven etc. All the equipment is new. For easy living there is an excellent mini-supermarket selling daily papers just around the corner. The apartment also has available High speed WiFi broadband and laptop available.
