Playa Blanca #1 , #1 in all aspects

It was a perfect fit for our travel desires.The photos on the website were very acturate there were no surprises, we got everything that we were expecting and much more.The location was beautiful, white sand, palm trees and the ocean just feet from our patio. The condo was lovely, very clean and comfortable with lots of extra homey touches, and since we love to cook it was important the kitchen had everything we needed, which it did. The management company was very professional, we had a minor problem with the microwave and they had it replaced in a few hours. The daily maid service was a treat. We loved our trip and have already told our friends and family of our find. Looking forward to a return visit hopefully soon. The snorkeling was fun in both the nearby lagoon and ocean. The ruins at Tulum were fasinating and if you have time check out the ruins at Caba as well, hire a guide there is so much that does not meet the eye, well worth the few extra dollars. The shops and restaurants in Akumal were great, but if you have a chance go into Tulum about a 20 minute drive south, you will find great local food, fish and veggie markets, restuarants and shopping, the local flavor is wonderful. And if you are cooking the grocery stores are bigger in Tulum and one can easily find everything needed to stock your pantry. If relaxing in the sun at a leisurely pace is what you want in a vacation, this is the ticket.

A place in paradise

The condo was perfect and exactly like the photos. Directly on the beach, the view is amazing. Half Moon Bay is a quiet place but yet there's a lot of small shops, restaurants and others services.

The daily cleaning was really appreciated and the staff was nice and always ready to help.

I would recommend this condo to anyone. We would love to go back as soon as possible !

Great location! Watched the turtles nesting on the beach.

Stayed with a group of friends from work back in May. The condo is located right on Half Moon Bay. The beach is great for relaxing and swimming, just wear water shoes as the bottom is a bit rocky. Akumal is a great little town with plenty of restaurants. There is a spa in town, Buddha Gardens, I highly recommend. My favorite pace to eat is Turtle Bay café, check out their happy hour. The owners have taken the time to ensure everything you need for your stay is in the condo. This condo is a great value for a group.

Lovely spot in Half Moon bay for our family

We have been to Half Moon bay before but we really liked being on the ground floor this time. The place was large enough that my teens could get away and enough seating space that my parents could come and join us all for dinner. Plenty of cook supplies for some of our home cooked meals. Good easy restaurant options nearby for the nights we didn't want to cook, including the two places across the street that made amazing roast chicken and Italian food both as take out. Our favorite Buena Vida was just a quick walk down the beach. Swimming in Half Moon is not our favorite when the wind blows and there are waves (which is what it did most days this trip). So we walked to Akumal bay to swim. Minor negative was sometimes no hot water for our shower and AC on switch broke the last night. Overall a nice and spacious place to call home while visiting lovely Akumal

Paradise in Akumal

We stayed 8 days in Akumal in the condo Playa Blanca. The place is marvellous directly on the beach. Exactly as in the photos. the Condo is very well equipped, you have everything you need. It is very comfortable, with a lot of space, 2 nice bedrooms with bathroom. Very charming with its nice decoration mexican colors and style. Excellent service: cleaning every day (thanks to Odilia) and a nice team in case of problem. Akumal is a very quiet place far from all crowded places of the riviera Maya. Very central too: we had nice excursions to Tulum, Sian Ka'an, Coba and the Cenotes, Playa del Carmen, etc.....A car is necessary. Moreover, the condo is 10 mns walking from the turtles of Akumal Bay and of the fishes of Caleta Yal Ku (wonderful place). To complete, close to the Condo 2 very nice restaurants: La Buena Vida (on the beach, directly on the sand, with a little swimming pool) and La Lunita (more romantical, on the beach too, very good chef). The owner Marilu is really nice and helpful, she gave us a lot of good addresses and information before arriving. Many thanks Marilu for your help, thanks to you our stay in Akumal has been wonderful. We highly recomend this rental for people who like charming and quiet place.

Paradise on the beach

We spent 10 wonderful days in Akumal. The PROPERTY is very nice directly on the beach and in a quiet place far From the crowded places.From your bed you Can see the sea. Nice décoration with mexican colors and détails. The apartment is having all necessary. 2 nice bedrooms and bathrooms. In addition, every Day you havé a cleaning service. Thanks to Odilia for her Daily help.Akumal is Véry well ubicated for all major visits in Yucatán: Tulum, Sian Ka'an, coba, the cenotes and Playa del Carmen. And the best: Akumal bay 10 mins walking to go swimming with the turtles and another 10mns to Caleta Yal Ku unforgettable place to see a lot of wonderful fishes . To complete 2 Véry nice restaurant close to the condo. Many thanks to the owner for all the information she gave us and her " gentillesse ". We highly récomend this place.
