Please note this is a top floor flat which is a walk up no lift in the building. This flat is not suitable for children.

Great Home Base for Our Trip To London

We have just left six days in the top floor, one bedroom flat.

Everything was perfect and just as described.

We took the tube from Heathrow to Hammersmith station and a cab from the station, as suggested by Georgia. It was simple and easy to navigate. We received the keys and a tour of the flat from George as soon as we arrived. The flat was clean and bright and although there was a "heat wave" the two fans and open windows made the flat very comfortable. The bed was extremely comfortable as well. The location was very quiet while we we were there and we never were disturbed by noise inside or outside of the flat. There are stores nearby as well as restaurants of every kind. The location is perfect for touring around London and for getting back and forth from the airport. George was very helpful in getting us a ride to the airport and assisting us with our boarding passes.

A great stay with no disappointments.

Lovely flat

My sister and I stayed in the top floor flat (1 bedroom) at the end of May. The flat is easy to find from the Shepherd's Bush station and everything you need (groceries, etc) are within a short walking distance. The property was exactly as described, with a nicely updated kitchen/bathroom. The furnishings are basic but clean and neat - the bed is very comfortable, the internet is reliable, and the shower has good pressure and plenty of hot water.

The one thing to note is that the neighbors on either side (not in the same building but in the adjacent flats on the top floor) could be noisy late at night/early in the morning. It wasn't a huge problem for us but something to take into consideration if you're searching for absolute peace and quiet (which you probably won't find in London!). We definitely recommend this flat!

Top Floor Flat is great!

From the moment when I first contacted Georgia until after we left the flat we rented, she and George were very helpful and attentive. Georgia responded to our emails very promptly and shortly that we came back home sent us the information regarding the refundable deposit. George received us with a smile and good humor although we arrived late and later than expected, we have no words to thank him for his attentiveness and receptiveness. The place is very well located in Zone 1, less than two blocks from an underground station, and very close to restaurants, grocery stores, and a very large Westfield mall. The flat was great, spacious, clean, and had everything and more than we needed. The flat has a small hallway, kitchen, living/dining room, bathroom, and bedroom with two closets. The kitchen is well equipped with a fridge, stove, microwave, and washer/dryer.The shower was great and had strong pressure. The bed and apartment in general were extremely comfortable and convenient for the two of us. I highly recommend this place. It was certainly an overall pleasant experience. Thank you George and Georgia!

Lovely clean flat!

The flat was very clean and well equipped. Very comfortable bed, nice linens. Apartment was cozy - suitable for 1 or 2 people. The location worked very well - quiet neighborhood and short walk to the tube with shops and restaurants nearby. Could access theater district and central London in 20 minutes. Loved the suggestion for the Easy Bus for transportation to and from Heathrow. It was easy, efficient and inexpensive! Took it each way and we were the only passengers! Owners were helpful and late arrival was no problem and didn't incur additional charges.

Top Floor Flat, Sinclair Gardens, London

My wife and I stayed here for 12 nights during August 2010. It's a lovely, reasonably priced, well-appointed flat in an excellent location. It's 20 mins from central London on the tube (Shepherds Bush station on the central line is just around the corner), and 10 minutes walk from a huge shopping centre (Westfield) with lots of restaurants (Wahaca serves very good Mexican food), supermarkets (Waitrose, the food hall in Marks and Spencer), department stores, a cinema, etc.

The flat itself is in a good area--on a decent, quiet street with almost no traffic noise. The neighbours are very quiet as well. The flat is very safe and secure.

The flat has a separate lounge with large french doors leading out to a small balcony, a bedroom, a bathroom/toilet, and a good kitchen with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, gas hob and electric oven. In the kitchen, all the appliances are new and in good working order. Pots and pans, kitchen utensils, and crockery are all provided.

The bedroom is a good size with lots of storage and a comfortable bed, though you might find the latter to be a little bit small if you are much taller or bigger than average.

The bathroom is clean and tidy. It has a shower over the bath, with very good water pressure, which is not universal in London.

The flat is clean and well-presented in general and has modern decor.

Georgia, our contact, is extremely helpful and well-organised. She arranged our rental at short notice without any problem at all. She also arranged for a serviceman to check our gas boiler, literally within a matter of minutes, after a water leak on the same road momentarily lowered the water pressure.

The only real downside to the flat is that you have to climb 2 flights of stairs to reach it (there is no lift in the building), which might be awkward if you have very heavy luggage or find it difficult to climb stairs in general.

Apart from that minor caveat, my wife and I would heartily recommend the flat to anyone looking for a holiday rental in London. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in the flat and felt like we were in our own home. Staying here is much cheaper, quieter, and more comfortable than staying in a hotel in the centre, and is almost as convenient. The central line runs until after midnight, and there are also nightbuses from the centre of town to Shepherds Bush. If we visit London again, this flat would be our first choice for a place to stay.

Home Away From Home

My wife and I, who are both in our 50's, had 13 nights here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The flat was lovely; clean, bright and cheery with a view over the back gardens of the surrounding properties. We spotted both squirrels and a couple of foxes playing there.

The Flat is located within a few minutes walk of the Shepherd's Bush Tube station and the large Westfield shopping centre; as well as the White City bus interchange, so you are able to easily get to all parts of London.

We arrived at an unsociable hour on a Saturday night, but this was no problem to Georgia who arranged for us to collect the keys from one of the buildings residents.

I thoroughly recommend the flat as a great base from which to see London and would certainly stay here again, should we return for another trip.

The location is serviced by 3 Underground Stations - Shepherds Bush (Central Line), Olympia (District Line) or Hammersmith (Piccadilly Line) which are all within easy access. There are also numerous buses to central London locations, such as Marble Arch, Oxford Street, High Street Kensington, South Kensington, Westminster, Victoria.
