About this property

The apartment is very large, about 100 square meters.
It is located in a vibrant and lively neighborhood, but the rooms are in the back and are enough quiet. It is facing a nice square which gives access to the sea boardwalk.
You are a 10 minute walk to the center and 5 minutes to the promenade along the sea side.

The apartment consists of a spacious and bright double room with a sofa, a kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom with shower and window. Ideal for enjoying the sea and walks on the promenade.
The neighborhood is safe, you can walk without problems alone both day and night. Nearby there are many shops.
If you cross the square there is a Coop supermarket, a pizzeria around the corner, a pharmacy not far away, the bakery and the post office are close. There are also restaurants and clubs to suit all tastes.

I recommend:
The local pie of chickpeas (try it! it is called “Torta") at Pizzeria Da Cecco in via dei Cavalletti or Pizzeria I 4 Canti at corso Mazzini corner Piazza Mazzini.
The natural ice cream, like homemade, at Gelateria Caprilli at corner viale Italia – via dei Funaioli.
A “Ponce" at Bar Civili in via del Vigna, a historic gathering place equal to 50 years ago.
In the summer from Thursday to Sunday you can take fried fish from Jhonny Paranza, the kiosk in the square.

PARKING:
"Porta a Mare" 100 meters from the apartment, open from 07:00 to 01:00, out until 04:00, cost € 0.50 the first two hours, € 1.00 each subsequent hour.
Parking in Piazza Mazzini is not free (first hour 1€, second 1,50€, third 2€, after 3€/hour), it is free only in the night after 21:00 ultil 8:00.
You can park for free in via Edda Fagni in front of Benetti Shipyard.

SEA - in a few minutes by bus or car you can reach the cliffs south of the city, recommended the beach of Cala del Leone, cliffs of Calignaia or the cliffs called Scogli Piatti. In town the promenade along seaside is ideal for long walks.

spacious flat with everything you need

Had a great stay . Livorno was a base so that we could go to Pisa and florence This flat is a 5 minute bus ride to train station there you can go to Pisa and Florence in a short time.the owner advised us about local places to visit and eat which we loved. Especially cafe sirena just downstairs. All local people with amazing food and great wine. The little chip shop were they serve fritto misto and play music . .great coves and pools near by to go to also . Great stay thank you

Great place, great host!

Big space in this appartment, proper, children-friendly and a fully equipped kitchen, even if it's not needed as restaurants, bars and grocery stores are very close. In addition, Gabriele is very kind and helpful, and he gave us good tips for places around, totally recommended.

Livorno Stay

The apartment is spectacular. It is spacious and very comfortable. The location cannot be beat.... ! The host is most gracious and very accommodating. Highly recommended.

I teach at high school. I love Livorno. I like the spirit of the people who live there. I like pizza and chickpeas pie, called "torta". I love sea and cliff, most beautiful cliff and beach are in Cala del Leone. I like the Venice neighborhood, the old part of town, with channels and two Medici fortresses.

Why they chose this property

I use the apartment for work and sometimes I rent it. The apartment is located in a lively area, before it was a fisherman discrict. I love this property. The square is a green area. You have all in your hand: near the city center, near the sea. The noise of the square is quite reduced in the rooms, but if you are used to total silence, my apartment is not your destination.

What makes this property unique

The apartment is on the second floor of a typical local building. Exposed beams, parquet floor, internally overlooking three courtyards.
The apartment is equipped with heating, TV, 2 fans, 3 portable Air Conditioner Fan, hair dryer.
There is access to free and unlimited wi-fi.
In bathroom there are soap, shampoo, etc.. So it should not miss anything. Do not hesitate to ask for anything you need.
