We were a party of 6 adults who were staying due to a local wedding and we found the property very spacious and perfect for 6 adults. Usually when an advert says it can accommodate 6 it barely does but this one had LOADS of space, large sofa and enough chairs and areas for us to dine whether inside or outside on the balcony.

It was a lovely stay and although we made the most of the cafe by the pool, it would have been nicer if there were more people about to chat with, it is very quiet by the swimming pool which some might like but we prefer a little more activity.

Good time had by everyone.

As this is a penthouse, it is not overlooked and very private. Both balconies are private and perfectly set to catch the sun at appropriate times of the day for outdoor barbecue and al-fresco dining.

What a lovely penthouse, great location too!

Loved the property itself, was nicer than described and cost less than I would have expected. Great location, 10 minutes from the beaches and amenities in walking distance. Loved the club house by the pool and the long evenings on the private balconies. Thanks for the great service, booking was easy and loved that I did not have to pay a cash deposit but could use my credit card on reserve, much better that way.

Never Again

Having agreed a set fee for 3 months stay, we had a flat nothing like any of the descriptions or photos, on moving to the next property on the village site described as ' penthouse' no it's not, its a second floor flat. But the fees increased. The whole flat was basic with a tired Ikea furnishing suite. Not one comfortable seat. Basic wouldn't really cover the kitchen. The holiday village was in the middle of nowhere and felt like a council estate but you were locked in.Save your money, go elsewhere. Take no notice of the picture it's the club house. More from my wife.......

The photo shot of club house, pool and tennis court is totally misleading. This is basically a gated housing estate in the middle of suburbia.

You definitely need a car to escape, so anyone thinking of booking a winter stay would be well advised in finding somewhere closer to Estoril/Cascais. The apartment is not a home, more a corporate Ikea let, with many of the furnishings well past their sell by date and very uncomfortable.

So being beguiled by an image of a luxury 2 bedroom apartment , we booked , but what we got was a ground floor let, with no direct sunlight, by the entrance.

We were able to negotiate the place we thought we had booked, but at an extra cost, and then a further charge for guests, each night of their stay.

It was a shame that management were unable to replace the tennis net, as the existing one was literally falling to bits, and could not be raised to the proper level.

All in all not a pleasant experience especially as this far too much money for what was on offer.

I love this property

We loved the well appointed property, it has everything you could wish for. The grounds are great, tennis courts and swimming pool most welcome! The surrounding area is good with lots of local shops and restaurants.

We will be back.

A penthouse with loads fo style

What a stylish place and great location, wife went shopping whilst us golfers enjoyed the local courses. The kids played tennis and swam at the property all at, a highly recommended location and place to stay.

Exactly as described!

I have never been to a property that was exactly as described and shown in the video, a nice surprise. Villaggio is a great place for the children with the tennis courts and swimming pool right there and the security is good so we could relax. The swimming pool is nice and quiet which we liked very much. I have already booked for next year, cannot wait.

Lovely property, highly recommended

I We loved the penthouse, the large balconies are just superb, one catches the morning sun and the other the evening sun. Very clean and well presented inside and the swimming pool was lovely and quiet. The customer service was excellent too, very friendly staff always happy to help. We loved our holiday here, thank you.

Cascais is a popular holiday destination close to the cosmopolitan & sophisticated city of Lisbon. It is a picturesque fishing town and long-standing resort of royalty & the Portuguese aristocracy.

Cascais has an excellent climate, together with a wide cross-section of both cultural and sporting opportunities on its door-step. There is a modern cultural centre with traditional theatres & restaurants.

Close by is the historic town of Sintra with its dazzling beauty and 'fairytale' castles, nestled in between forests up windy mountain roads. It also sells some of the oldest & finest Port we've ever seen! A thoroughly beautiful day out.

Estoril, famous for its F1 & Moto GP racetrack, is home to the largest Casino in Europe and is only minutes away.
