Westpoint is situated on the North Cornish coastal village of Polzeath, which is known for its surfing and wonderful sandy beach. The property is detached and only a 5 minute walk to the beach and the local shops of Polzeath.

Downstairs the house has an open plan kitchen/dining room with patio doors onto the terrace and garden. The kitchen benefits from an aga which is on during the winter months. The fabulous sea view can be enjoyed from most aspects of the house. It has a large sitting room with an open fire. There is a downstairs twin room which is ensuite, and a utility room which can also double up as a surf board/wetsuit storage room.

Upstairs Westpoint has a master bedroom which is ensuite, and a double room,and a twin room which all share the family bathroom. All the upstairs bedrooms have a view toward Polzeath Beach and Sea.

My husband and I bought Westpoint namely as a holiday home for ourselves but as our children have grown older we have less time to enjoy the wonderful North Cornish coast. We hope that our guests get as much pleasure from the house as our family has done over the years.

Perfect girls weekend

Myself and 6 friends (aged20-21) rented westpoint for a relaxed girls weekend. It was perfect, homely and very well equipped had everything we needed only needed to bring clothes and food.

The highlight for me was the garden, excellent patio with BBQ and large table and chairs for everyone to sit around and the most fabulous view over the beach and sea. Perfect for those sunny summer evenings.

We all had the best weekend and will be returning next year but hopefully for longer next time.

Recommend for: girls weekend, family's, anyone wanting to be situated right by the beach

Our First Holiday of The Year

Arrived in Polzeath and easily found West point our home for the next week, and it really felt like home.

From the well equiped kitchen and the wonderfully comfortable sitting room both with fabulouse views of Polzeath beach, to the garden and patio every thing was perfect. Our cares and worries seemed to melt away.

the house is in the most beautiful location with walks to Damer Bay and then on to Rock and Padstow.

We totally enjoyed our time at West point, did'nt want to leave for home and can't wait to go back for more of the Polzeath experience.

Westpoint was immaculate and well presented , very welcoming and truly wonderful. we loved breakfast in the garden , and to return from the day to have Pimmns and sun on the terrace was fabulous .

A perfect pad by the sea.

We have now had several holidays at Westpoint. You simply cannot beat its position - perfect for sitting in the garden with a chilled g&t watching the sun go down.

The house itself is extremely spacious - last year, my husband and I were there with quite a crowd (with our young daughter, sister, in-laws AND aunt!!) and it was absolutely super with the large lounge and great big dining table. (Plus the Aga is perfect for drying post-rock pooling shorts)

It is so thoughfully equipped (the outside shower was great for the surfers amongst us!) and immaculately clean.

The owners, too, are extremely accommodating and ever so friendly.

We have stayed in many holiday homes over the years, but Westpoint has far exceeded them all, and I just can't wait to return this summer.

Simply wonderful!

Just returned from a fabulous weekend at this brilliant house....loads of space, big kitchen, Aga, log fire, large bedrooms, lots of bathrooms, outside shower, BBQ, garden - so the list goes on! Location is perfect - sea views and a very short walk to the beach/shops/pub. Everything clearly marked in the kitchen and nothing seems to have been forgotten. Kids had a fabulous time and will be back for a visit again soon.

We bought the property because my husband spent many happy summers in this area as a child and teenager and wanted to share his pleausure with his own family. Our children have all grown up with a love of the sea and surfing and it will always be a part of our family. First and formost Westpoint is a family home and hope our guests feel like it is home from home for them during their stay at Westpoint.

Nearest Airport : Newquay at 15 Miles Nearest Barpub : Waterfront and TJ's at 1 Kilometres Nearest Ferry : Plymouth at 25 Miles Nearest Train : Bodmin at 15 Miles Nearest Restaurant : Waterfront, TJ's and Cracking Crab at 1 Kilometres Nearest Beach : Polzeath at 1000 Metres Car: recommended

Polzeath is situated on the North Cornwall coastline. It is famous for it fabulous surfing and sandy beach in addition to all the wonderful coastal walks. Nearby is Rock and Daymer Bay which offers Sailing and water ski-ing. There is a passenger ferry that operates daily from Rock to Padstow. There is the Camel Trial which is for cycling and bikes can be hired in nearby Wadebrige.
