About the property

Large luxury detached family accommodation with private pool

Perched on a hilltop, this lovely traditionally-styled villa commands fantastic views over the Mediterranean coast and surrounding mountains. Situated just a few minutes drive from the bustling Spanish town of Estepona, this spacious villa is the perfect base for a fabulous holiday. From the house, it's just a short drive to Bermuda Beach where a walking track can take you all the way to Sabanillas and the port of Duquesa. Also nearby is the Albayt Country Club with its fitness centre and paddling pool for toddlers.

The villa is centred around a feature tower filled with original artworks and sculptures. The spacious and bright lounge dining area opens out onto the terrace and pool with built-in BBQ and al-fresco dining areas. The master suite has a super-kingsize bed, full en-suite bathroom and access directly to the terrace. The living areas, master suite and terraces are accessible for wheelchair users. Downstairs from the tower there are four more bedrooms, two with twin beds and two with doubles, and all with plenty of wardrobe space. There is a large guest bathroom and separate wc.

Golf: Buenas Noches lies between a whole host of fantastic golf courses with Europe's number one course Valderamma and the equally stunning San Roque, Sotogrande, Finca Courtesin and La Reserva. There are many other great courses. Estepona GC is literally 5 minutes away.

Nature: Buenas Noches lies within easy reach of a National Park which nestles beneath the mountain that flanks the house. The park offers opportunities to picnic amongst the pines and with views over the coast. The White Village of Casares sits at the top of the mountain offering stunning views across the coast and valleys and this is an ideal way to experience the culture and heritage of old Spain.

Sports and Fitness: There is a country club at the bottom of the hill from the Villa offering fitness and tennis and approx 20 minutes drive away is Buena Vista Bowls Club which played host to the Andalucian Open this year. The advantage of this lovely family house is that it is tranquil at both day and night with nothing but the sea breeze and waves to listen too. A drive of just 5 minutes in either direction will introduce a multitude of bars, restaurants and clubs many staying open until dawn. The beach is reachable by a footbridge from the bottom of the hill but this is quite rocky and a fabulous and fully guarded beach which stretches for miles is just a few hundred yards along the road (best by car)

A very spacious property with the most spectacular views and only minutes from absolutely anything you could wish for a great holiday. The house is very well furnished with all utilities, high speed fibre optic WiFi and all TV and Sat channels inc Sport and Movies.

AC is now installed in every bedroom and lounge/diner.

What makes this villa unique

I defy anyone not to find something to suit their personal tastes within a few minutes of the house. There are fantastic restaurants both traditional and modern. There are clubs and bars open until dawn and there are fantastic walks both along the beach and in the national park behind. Having said all that guests will never be troubled by noise or holiday revellers here, it is almost silent at the house. A Car is essential but how wonderful to return from a great day out to your own haven of peace with a lovely pool and the most fantastic views - cocktails on the terrace anyone?

  • The Master Suite leads out to the front terrace and is situated on the ground level from the entrance tower. Downstairs there are 4 more bedrooms one leading to the garden. The new wing features a massive twin room with a second twin room leading from it (access only though the first room) ideal for the kids or a family unit. The master suite and both rooms in the new wing have A/C and the other two guest rooms have ceiling fans (A/C coming to all bedrooms in Autumn 2016)

Notes:
The house is at the apex of a hill so access for elderly or infirm would be by car. The entrance tower is accessible to a wheel chair as are the general areas of the villa, master bedroom and outdoor terraces and pool but 4 guest bedrooms are downstairs. The pool is deep and suitable only for children who are supervised.

A Mediterranean Narnia

Last August, just by pure chance we came across a review for Villa Karma, Buenas Noches, Estepona and thought “Yes this will do us nicely for next June!”. Do us nicely? Well after returning last night from a week’s stay at the villa, it more than did us nicely.

From the outset, the communication we received was superb and this continued in the ensuing months. Did we have any difficulty in locating it? that would be a huge no. We arrived quite late in the evening, and Jenni the Villa Manager came over to meet us, she’d provided our essentials for the night into the next morning, including a welcoming bottle of red! I walked in through the front door and my immediate thought was “Wow, I have just stepped into a Mediterranean Narnia!”, oh my word, this house is immense, talk about standards, this is an A+5*, each room just gave more and more as I explored it, it is so immaculately maintained, every aspect is catered for! If you need it, you’ll find it in one of the cupboards that’s for sure.

The view from the terrace are incredible, I’m actually feeling pretty sad not to be looking at them as I am writing up this review, but what I will say, is that whilst you’re reading this, you need to get the picture implanted in your mind, to the right along the coastline, you can see as far as Estepona and beyond, and to the left, there she is – the good Rock of Gibraltar, as I looked across to the back of the house there are the mountainous terrain, simply stunning.

We made so much use of the swimming pool, this was the first time ever that I have had all my children along with spouse/partners together and my oh my, what a brilliant week we have had, the memories have been made and will now be treasured. The Barbecue Chimenea was put to good use all week, by the “many chef’s” who cooked up our evening meals, well the combined effort of sons and son in law provided us with much entertainment – the neighbours didn’t appear to mind the hearing the hilarity that was coming from us! The Air-Con throughout worked at optimum level and was most welcoming throughout the nights – not that I’d dare complain that it was too hot!

We chose not to make use of the cleaning staff throughout the week, but having the use of a washing machine ensured that we could wash our towels/bedding and oh, yes, all the pool towels are provided as well. One thing that was great, was a laundry basket full of pool toys, bats, balls etc. which seem to be left for others by previous visitors

Lovely villa in a quiet setting

This villa is equipped with everything you need. Great BBQ/pool area with a separate, spacious outdoor dining area. TV with all channels, great SONOS speakers to play music on. Kitchen equipped with everything you can wish for and a spacious living/dining area inside if it's getting too hot outside. I would recommend Trevor's property to anyone.

Great villa with outstanding views

We booked the villa very late in the day due to work commitments. We received confirmation back very quickly along with directions on how to get to the villa and information regarding who to contact when we were leaving the airport etc. Upon arrival Jenni greeted us at the gates and we were given a tour and shown how to work everything. In truth the literature in the house was very comprehensive so whatever we missed on the tour we found in the instruction manual. Overall the villa is very impressive and is exactly what it looks like in the pictures so there were no surprises. The bedrooms are large, comfortable and cool so sleeping was easy. The lounge area was excellent as there were sliding doors on both sides which kept a steady breeze blowing through the house. High speed WIFI and a comprehensive satellite package kept me entertained whilst my wife and daughter sizzled away in the midday sun. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you'll need and more for self catering but in truth the fridge took a week to get cold even on its highest setting and the kettle could do with updating. Apart from those two minor issues everything was perfect. We always do villa holidays and have to admit it's one of the better ones so we would have no hesitation in going back. Overall an excellent villa and a very professional service from the owner.

Tranquil and peaceful

An ideal place to get away from it all, but never too far from the sights and crowds if you want it.

Set in a hillside viewing point overlooking Estapona bay, with views for miles in every direction.

An amazing place that would suit all age groups, and with five bedrooms its large enough to cater for two families. The pool is amazing, and hard to keep out of on the hot days, and yet the palacios inside is always cool with its air conditioned rooms.

Thoroughly recommended, and an excellent base to explore the Costa. The wifi was better than anything we have in the UK, and kept the kids busy whilst others relaxed.

Buenas Noches is situated between Estepona Port and Duquesa Port close to the towns of Estepona and Sabinillas. The Villa is close to the beach and there are many golf courses nearby,The pretty white village of Casares is within easy drive with stunning scenery as you go up the mountain. The airports of Gibraltar and Malaga are serviced by numerous budget airlines. Marbella (and Purto Banus) and Gibraltar are equa distant to the Villa about 30 minutes drive.

The house overlooks the sea on two sides and is flanked by the mountain. There are shops and restaurants nearby and the ports both offer bustling night life. The new motorway offers a fast alternative to explore further South towards Cadiz or all along the coast to Malaga passing Marbella, MIjas and Torremolinos.
