Why The owner chose Spoleto area

At the beginning it was built for the use of my family. The building works were finished in 2008 and my programs have changed and in some periods of the year the villa isn't entirely used. As the building was thought and realised in a special way in all its details, i want to let it enjoy to friends that could appreciate the place and the house.

What makes this apartment unique

peace, quietness and relax for families with children and for couples

Amazing Time

  • 5 of 5

We had an amazing time in Umbria and this Villa was stunning, set on the top of a hill overlooking the medieval town of Spoleto. We stayed in the beautifully presented main villa and we as a family were made extremely welcome. The villa was cool to the heat and there was a wonderful view from the bedrooms to wake up to across the Umbrian Hills. The garden and pool were a good size and an adventure for our children to explore and enjoy. It was also a fantastic base to explore across Umbria and into Tuscany. In the evenings there were restaurants in Spoleto or as we did use the BBQ and dine al fresco. In short beautiful memories for us as a family and we would highly recommend.

Great summer in Umbria

  • 5 of 5

We've spent a great holiday in Umbria. Great location up in the hills close to the beautiful city of Spoleto. From that city, access to the highway allows to visit most of Umbria in less than an hour's drive.

On the hot summer afternoons, the outdoor facilities in this holiday house provided a perfect place to swim or just cool down in the quite sizeable pool, play some ping-pong or just plain relax and read a book.

On the late afternoon or early evening, we typically took the car out to one of the many beautiful cities in the area... There's simply too much to visit in the two weeks we stayed here.

We had breakfast and lunch on the private terrace in front of the holiday house, and on most evenings, we had late night drinks and dinner also outside. Inside, temperature was always pleasantly fresh, great to get a good night sleep...

The only downside to this place was the fact that we had to leave it after two weeks and return home...

teleurstellende ervaring

  • 2 of 5

Owner's Response: In his review Mr... says untrue, contradictory ( he affirms that our is a very beautiful and cleaned structure and after affirms that he is disappointed) and vindictive things, for the fact that when he was our guest he have done damages for about euro 500,00 ( that we promptly contested at his departing) inside the property and outside in the garden. He had an incorrectly behavior, he was resting his feet on other chairs while he was reading, moved the furniture into the property, moved and damaged the sunbeds in the garden, he was even sleeping for hours on the sun beds blocking the passage of access to the pool, even other guests complained for this. The advertisement on Homeaway is correct and if one wants can visit our website. Our villa is composed of three properties, very large and independent each of other with a private gazebo. My family doesn’t live in the villa , but if a property is free it can happen that we stay there for some days for the ordinary management of the structure and however we don’t use the pool. The garden, the villa and the swimming pool are always well cared. When our guests arrive they take vision of the rules and a thing that we recommend is to not use the fins, because the fins are dangerous for other guests and because the fins can damage the pool, we aren’t at the sea. We have got lots of families with children, Dutch and not and some of them had come back other times ( have a look to the judgment and the score of the previous reviews 5/5).
