Located in the desirable Ridgevale Beach area of Chatham, this clean and comfortable home is just a 1/2 mile walk to this fabulous sandy beach where you can enjoy swimming both on Nantucket Sound or in the milder waters in the adjoining tidal creek. Ridgevale Beach is one of Chatham's most popular destinations for vacationing families. A clean, bright and airy home with an open floor plan and well proportioned rooms make it a good choice for one or 2 families.

This home comfortably sleeps 8 people with 3 large bedrooms. Two bedrooms each have a King sized bed and the third bedroom has a King and 2 twins.

A living room on the first floor with a 40'' flat screen television is perfect for the adults, while the big family room in the walk-out lower level with a 50'' flat screen television offers the perfect retreat for the kids. The fully equipped kitchen with gas stove, stainless appliances, and a central island make meal preparation a breeze. Additional amenities include plenty of closet space, central air conditioning, a 2nd floor laundry, outside shower, WiFi, lobster pot, hair dryer, iron/ironing board and lots of kids toys.

Chatham is great home base location. Easily spend a week exploring Chatham alone (Lighthouse Beach, Chatham Fish Pier, the Bandstand concert on Friday nights in town, Lighthouse Beach and Oyster Pond, and plenty of restaurants for couples and families alike) or venture beyond Chatham and explore all that the Cape has to offer!

Great family vacation rental

Besides being very clean, everyone was very happy with their bedrooms. Beds were super comfortable. In the past it seemed someone in our family would have to settle for a bedroom that was small or not situated the best. This one all three bedrooms were roomy and comfortable. The kitchen was very big and open. The owners were very prompt in answering questions. We will definitely rent this house again!

Another great summer!

My family had another great stay at this property! The kids enjoyed playing in the front yard and we all loved the easy beach access. The house was clean and stocked with all necessities - especially for feeding little kids! Great neighborhood with lots of kids and friendly faces - we can’t wait to return again!

Perfect stay!!!

We have rented many houses all over the Cape and this by far was the best!! The house was so comfortable, clean and well stocked. The beds were very comfortable and there was a great amount of space. The neighborhood and walk to the beach was lovely. I highly recommend this house!

Perfect Vacation

Beautiful home! Clean and well equipped with all necessary essentials. Had more than enough room for 7 adults and 2 children. Neighborhood was very nice and we all enjoyed walking and riding our bikes to the beach! Highly recommend this beautiful home for vacation!

Great Ridgevale Beach location

The house was perfect for our family vacation to the Cape. The house was clean, well stocked, and exactly as described in the listing. The layout of the house was great and had enough space for our family of 5. The large basement that went out to the side yard was great for kids. The best part for us though was the convenient location to Ridgevale beach. My kids ages 8-12 were able to ride their bikes down to the beach every day (~3 min bike ride) and I walked down the wagon with the beach stuff (~10 min walk). The convenient location allowed us to go back and forth from the beach to the house. Chatham is also a convenient location on the cape to be able to get to different towns on the cape to visit friends. We also took a ferry from Harwich (~5 min away) to Nantucket for the day. All in all, it was a great week. The owners were extremely responsive and helpful too. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home!

Family of four that loves the beach, boating and baseball! We have lived and traveled around the U.S. but nothing beats the salty air (and sometimes salty people) of New England.

Why they chose this property

We discovered Chatham several years ago, and simply fell in love with the town! We love coming here and letting our kids experience what summers used to feel like before we had to grow up - running barefoot with sand in toes, showering outside, eating on deck with bathing suit, trips to candy shop and no bedtimes. Idyllic memories abound in this magical town.

What makes this property unique

We fell in love with the house when we realized that it's ideal for family-together time and alone time! Plenty of space to be together for fun morning breakfasts and dinners, but also three levels of living means that despite chaos, you can always find a way to escape and simply read a book (or catch up on guilty pleasures on your tablet on our super fast WiFi!).
