Brilliant!

We have just returned from this house after a 5 night stay. For us Brits this was a fantastic way to combine Boston and the beach. The house is in a lovely quiet residential road in a perfect location to see all of Cape Cod. We also took the car ferry to Martha's Vineyard. Definitely take the car. We can recommend The Boathouse in Edgartown for lunch. This house is a home. Every single thing you can think of was provided. Shops were round the corner. I even went to the hairdresser and she was brilliant too! Lovely bakery The Bashful Tarte nearby. And then there are the beaches! We saw dozens, all were just stunning. Easy trip out of Boston. We all agreed we had an amazing time. This house made it extra special. Thank you again Paul. Sue and family,Reading, U.K.

Absolutely fabulous

My husband and I stayed at Blue Door Cottage from 2nd to 15th June 2018. We loved everything about it. It is in a lovely quiet residential neighbourhood. The garden around the property was lovely - very inquisitive squirrels plus rabbits and loads of birds. Didn't see turkeys in the garden but I understand that they can appear. It is walking distance from the beach, shops, restaurants and activities such as crazy golf. I also love the Stop and Shop - Tescos in the UK just doesn't compare! The house is so well equipped - it literally has everything you need and is so clean and comfortable. It even has throws on the sofa's for any chilly nights. We felt at home from the minute we arrived. We used the bikes supplied whilst we were there to cycle to Dennis and hired bikes to cycle the CCRT as we couldn't quite get to it by bike - it is being extended so may well be more accessible in the future. We hired two bikes in Dennis and did 11 miles then hired a tandem the second time from Orleans to ride the rest of the trail up to Wellfleet. The trail is absolutely fantastic and a definite must do - the tandem was an experience! We have been to the USA 12 times and were in Cape Cod last September, staying for a week in Eastham and a week in South Yarmouth. Cape Cod is our happy place and we are looking to return next year - as soon as the flights have been released, I'll be on the case. If you are thinking of booking a stay here - think no more - book it - I'd bet £100.00 of our Great British Pounds that you won't be disappointed! Thank you Paul for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home - it was good to meet you. Thank you too for always being quick to respond to any queries. It was a very hard property to leave.

Beautiful well equipped cottage in a great location for exploring The Cape

Myself, husband and two boys (14 & 10) have just enjoyed a fantastic week at this great cottage. Everything you need is here, we really couldn't fault the place! We enjoyed exploring the whole Cape from here but also loved the fact you can walk or cycle to some lovely beaches and restaurants within just a few minutes (we loved Smugglers Beach & the snack bar here was great for a quick lunch). The Bikes and beach chairs in the garage were also a great addition and the boys loved the outdoor shower! We can't wait to return one day, thankyou Paul & family for hosting us.

Great cottage with everything you could need

The cottage was fabulous with everything we could ask for provided. Our 10 month old son had a great time crawling around and exploring. The location was good with lots of shops nearby and easy access to other parts of the Cape. We would happily stay here again. Thank you!

Lovely holiday home in a great location

The house is well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It's in a tranquil spot. Our sons enjoyed playing ball games and cycling around the quiet roads on bikes kindly provided by the owners. The location is very good. Within a 5/10 minute walk is a very pleasant beach and play park. Also within a 5 minute drive are two large supermarkets and a wide variety of restaurants. We wanted a central location, so we could explore the whole of the Cape. We drove to Woods Hole, so that we could have a short crossing to Martha's Vineyard and we drove to Provincetown. Both were easy to reach for day trips. The owners were very helpful, providing bedding and towels for a small fee and providing contact details and information for us.

Once our son graduates college, this is will be our year round home, so we do not cut corners. We have learned from our rental experiences, and look forward to having other families share our home.
