A Beautiful Experience
We rented this property because it was in the path of totality for the solar eclipse. Despite soggy, and snowy (!) weather leading up to our stay, the property was in excellent shape. The lake may still have been frozen, but there was a very nice deck over the water, perfect for taking in the view. My family watched the eclipse from there--a quiet, awe-inspiring moment made better by the peaceful setting. The living room space is lovely, and perfect for gathering together and chatting. The porch/deck was a perfect place to watch the sun set, and as a family of admitted nature-nerds, we appreciated sitting there in the morning, watching the early Spring changes in the woods and wildlife. We also like to cook when we're all together, and were pleased with how well laid out the kitchen was. If you are looking for a peaceful place to visit with close friends or family, I'd highly recommend this location!

Beautiful Location
Our stay at "Peace and Tranquility" was relaxing and rejuvenating. Our host was gracious and helpful. We fell asleep for the sound of the call of the Loon. It doesn't get any better than that.

Amazing
We were very pleased with the cleanliness of the house, the good supply of necessities & the lake was very calming! The host is very pleasant & quick to respond if you need anything. The packet he has explaining things is very detailed. Looking forward to going back again next year!!

A very family friendly house. A great place to relax with absolutely no outside distractions. Looking forward to hopefully another stay next summer.

Born and raised in Maine. Love the outdoors, hiking, biking, tennis, golf, and skiing. Work in the healthcare field. Appreciate the remoteness of my camp, a wonderful place to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Why they chose this property

This camp has some features that really attracted me. First of all, it has the potential to be a year round home. It also has a beautiful fieldstone fireplace, wonderful to sit by a warm fire with a glass of wine, or read a book, or engage in conversation. Most uniquely, the property has 425 feet of shoreline frontage and 10 acres of land with a waterfront view. So I couldn't pass it up. It's relatively remote, but close enough to civilization, and only 30 minutes from my home.

What makes this property unique

Exterior porch overlooking Sebec lake, part of the porch is screened with a sliding glass door into the dinning room. The sunsets across the lake so every evening you will always have a beautiful view!
