About this property

Relax and rejuvenate with your closest friends and family in our two homes with a private lakefront beach. Submersed in nature, our Guest House and Cottage is a perfect place to call home during your Finger Lakes Vacation. Enjoy a private beach with Adirondack chairs, kayaks and swimming access. Kick back around the campfire or play badminton on the lawn. Located just minutes from the historic town of Seneca Falls, Cayuga Lake Wine & Beer Trail, artisanal restaurants, Del Lago Casino and more!
**PLEASE NOTE: The Guesthouse is under renovations from 12/2023 to May 2024. Pictures will not accurately reflect the guesthouse until its done. We promise it will be EVEN BETTER than the pictures we have listed**
The Guesthouse has 4 bedrooms, 3 full baths, washer and dryer and expansive views. The second story living area boasts a gorgeous deck with panoramic lake views. A walking path will take you down to the lake shore. It is an easy walk, but it is about 800ft to the private beach.

The Cottage has 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, a washer and dryer, and can sleep 8 with the pull out sofa. The cottage is about 400ft from the Guesthouse with a mowed walking path to join your crew at the Guesthouse or beach.

While we do have a third home that is used for long-term rentals onsite, we ask all tenants and guests to respect each others’ privacy and quiet enjoyment of the property. There is plenty of space to make everyone feel secluded!

Pets are allowed with prior approval and subject to pet fee. A pet fee of $100 per pet will be applied after approval. Please keep pets off furniture and bedding and crate if left alone in the homes. Pets must be leashed outdoors and all refuse disposed of properly.

Lovely Family Getaway

Amazing two properties with direct lake access, kayaks, and a grill made this a perfect family vacation spot for all ages. Proximity to great spots like Taughannock Falls and Ithaca made it an easy place to come back to for family meals. We would stay again!

Amazing location and place

David and Patti were incredible hosts. The property was Amazing. Everything was stocked and every detail planned. I would highly reccomend Rathbuns to anyone considering a stay on Cayuga. The private beach is serene!

Beautiful location

The location is great. The lake was beautiful and easy to get to by foot. Not all 30 acres is available to guests. If it is possible it would be great to have some walking trails. The owner and his property manager were pleasant and responsive

Our family thoroughly enjoyed staying at this property. Our hosts were very attentive to our needs and any questions we had about the property. Being able to swim and fish so close to the houses added to the experience. S'mores and roasting hot dogs made this vacation "the best ever." - in the words of one of my grand children.

This property allows groups large and small to enjoy the absolute pristine lakefront that is the largest on Cayuga Lake. It is also a historical piece of property and is near wineries and town and has a unique view toward the East and South of Cayuga Lake. This property has two homes that can be rented individually during off season or together during prime season.
