About this property

The COTTAGE house is originally from Upper Bavaria, rebuilt in 1980, fully refurbished 2014, keeping its 1830 rural Biedermeier style intact.

GROUND FLOOR
When entering the house, a large eat-in kitchen opens up. The seating area is arranged around an original Bavarian table, which once belonged to the late folk singer Roider Jackl, and offers views into the garden from each corner. A small, central lounge covered with sheepskin forms the perfect spot to sit back, relax and let any action pass by. Through the backdoor a west-facing terrace can be reached, only a few steps away from the SPA house, which can be booked by arrangement. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a dishwasher. An English style bathroom with a freestanding iron bathtub and separate shower completes this level.

FIRST FLOOR
Beautiful views into the garden can be enjoyed from the sofa area and the small antique office table in the central living room. Open ceilings create space and little explorers can hide in the attic. If necessary, the sofa can be expanded as additional bed for two persons (140cm width). In the master bedroom guests will find an elegant double bed, surrounded by wood walls and an antique print of the famous Landshut Hochtzeit. The second bedroom is dominated by open plan windows on the east and south side, allowing guests to enjoy nature and the surroundings in full. With a French touch, two separate single beds and a small seating area complete this exquisite room.

OUTSIDE
Leaving the COTTAGE through the backdoor, guests will find a large, secluded south/west facing sun terrace, offering enough space for an outside seating area and sun loungers. To the north the view passes the Davos house and up to the village church.

SPA
The SPA is a place of tranquillity, built around the original silo shed. Enjoy a session in the Finnish sauna that offers beautiful garden views. Jump into the hot tub made of cedar wood or chill in the lounge area, inspired by the owner’s years in the Arabic world.

GARDEN
The garden is fenced, with electric entrance. For the entire stay, guest will have all required keys and access codes.

Traditional Bavarian Cottage , modern inside with a wonderful hot tub /sauna area

Lovely traditional Cottage but modern inside. Really well equipped with a lovely welcome basket. Sauna/ hot tub area is amazing. Manuela couldn’t do enough for us. We struggled with cycling as it was so hilly but had a hire car so we could get around. Haag Biergarten was one of the highlights. Would definitely recommend this cottage.

A Charming Retreat Outside of Munich

We traveled to the Munich in July and staying at this home was by far our highlight of our trip! This original rustic farm home is quite an oasis. We stayed here with our three young children and the home was appointed for all pull our needs. This lovely country home was a true sanctuary, chock full of charm and modern elegance within an original Bavarian farm style setting. We highly recommend this lovely home to anyone looking for a bit of relaxation outside of the city. We had a wonderful time and Manuela was most welcoming. We appreciated all the goodies the left for us to bring comfort to our stay!

Beautiful and relaxing!

This house and the surrounding are set in a quiet part of the Bavarian country-side. There's an amazing SPA building on-site, which is incredibly cosy. 10/10 would stay again.

Einfach richtig schön. Erholung von Anfang an.

Alte Gebäude liebevoll dekoriert und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir haben uns hier mehr als wohl gefühlt. Ein toller Picknickkorb begrüßte uns gleich am Tisch. –Abends in den vorgeheizten HotTube. Was gibt es Entspannenderes? Absolute Empfehlung.
