Next to the beach, on Anchieta Street, Leme, the beginning of Copacabana, a quiet neighborhood with no major crime problems, the apartment is on the fourth floor of an old building, the Babilônia Building, one of the first to be built in Copacabana, in the forties. This is why it is large, airy, fresh, spacious, with lift and service.
There are two apartments per floor in each of the two columns. The building is strictly family-friendly and the Carrara marble concierge is occupied 24 hours by the porter serving the residents or guests. The lobby is also very spacious, where a comfortable sofa invites you to rest after a long walk.
90m2 are divided into large living room with balcony, two spacious bedrooms, one smaller, which served as maid's (newly painted), bathroom, from which the bathtub was removed, and fully equipped kitchen, with access to the service area. This area, however, is only available for periods longer than four weeks. From the balcony and bedroom windows you have a side view of the beach.
And just get down, cross Gustavo Sampaio Street, which is on Avenida Atlantica - Avenida da Praia - with three walkways! One can even hear the mysterious noise of the waves while lying in bed or smoking a cigarette in the window while admiring the sea!
There is a single bed on the balcony, one double in each bedroom and a further pullout bed in the living room.
Thus, the apartment sleeps 7 people comfortably. If there is one more child, she could sleep on the living room couch.
There is a fan in the living room and one in each of the bedrooms, plus a standing one in the smaller bedroom.
We offer bed linen and towels. For periods beyond 4 weeks we have a washing machine.
There are very large closets in each bedroom, spacious dressers, in the living room and one of the bedrooms, bedside tables and bedside lamps next to each bed.
The service lift is used for when you are in a bathing suit, coming and going from the beach - or for staff on duty or people with dogs. And it works from 7 am to 10 pm.
The apt service door and the building's service door are also intended for swimwear and staff.
Supermarkets, banks, pharmacies, laundries and hairdressers are all within walking distance of the building. There is a bakery and a supermarket facing the building. And underneath it, a shoemaker, a key chain, and a fruit and vegetable shop.
Several bus lines run in front of the Leme Palace Hotel, which is on the other side of the building, on the beach.
And there is a taxi stand in front of the hotel.
We rent the apt also as bedroom and living room, when then we left one of the closed rooms.
And there is the possibility of renting only the "studio", that is, for a modest price, only the room, for solo travelers or student couples.
