Secluded, Private, Spacious 2 Bedroom, 3 bathroom, w/beautiful wooded lakeview

Spacious, Private, Secure and Completely Furnished with heat and air, 2 bedroom house, 2-1/2 baths with showers only, large family room with a sectional couch with full size bed. Large master bedroom. Sleeps 6, maximum # of guests allowed is 8, although spacious enough for large group.

bedroom upstairs with balcony view of lake. Also an escape latter is supplied for exit in case of emergency. First floor has a bedroom, formal living room with gas log fireplace, large fully equipped kitchen with lots of utensils, double oven and cook top, double door refrigerator freezer with ice maker, dishwasher, microwave and disposal. There are dining areas and a partially covered deck overlooking Lake Cumberland. The house has lots of parking space for recreational vehicles. The house is equipped with an outdoor gas grill, washer and dryer in basement, game room and all necessary supplies (i.e., complimentary personal items, as well as bed linen and towels) as well as fire extinguisher and several smoke detectors to make your stay most comfortable. Also included is an outside Swing, Picnic Table and Fire Pit for your outdoor enjoyment.

We were born in Monticello, Ky and lived in Ohio for several yrs. We came back to this beautiful country 15 yrs ago. Our farm land join the Rental Property so we're onsite to meet your needs as they occur. Rental house overlooks Harmon Creek Cove, a very popular part of the larger Lake Cumberland. There are 2 boat docks, just down the road, within 10 minutes (Attrrahunt and Ramsey Point). Also, Beaver Lodge Marina, about 6 miles away and Conley Bottom Marina, about 12 miles, rents boats and various water sports equipment.

Awesome Lake View

This is an older home, but maintained well and clean. The lake view makes it!! House is off road with well maintained gravel road. The house is very spacious, has fully equipped kitchen, has comfortable beds, has large decks around house, has complete basement with game room, bathroom, and laundry area. Gas grill is provided. Boat ramp is 5 mins. away!!! We loved our summer vacation on Lake Cumberland!!! Thank you, Cecil and Shirley!

Just what we needed!

This was a very good spot to relax and catch up on work. Enjoyed my daily walks and the beautiful sunsets from the deck.

The ideal stay in Cumberland

Stayed here numerous times and will continue to do so. It's location is remote but I like that, piece and quite in the great setting. Home has all that you'll ever need during your stay, Shirley is a wonderful property owner. 5 Stars easy !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very clean

Very clean. 2nd full bath was in the basement making it somewhat inconvenient for guests in the 2nd bedroom. Beds were comfortable

Very clean, beautiful view!

Perfect place to spend my 53rd birthday with my wife and in laws. The decks are well cared for and an ideal place to wind down after a day on the lake.

If you are over 6 ft tall, remember to duck under covered portion of deck. My brother in law knocked his noggin pretty hard when he put a plate of hamburgers on the table then turned around to go back to the grill.

I would definitely recommend this property and hope to return!

Relaxing, out of the way quaint cabin

Our family of 6 stayed at this cabin for a week. It is an older cabin, but everything was clean and worked well. It overlooks Harmon creek, which is a known "party cove" so there were several houseboats parked on the weekend playing their music loudly. That didnt bother us. The cabin is down a gravel lane that'll about 1/2 mile long. We saw wild turkeys and the owners have a couple pet pigs and our kids loved it! The back porches were great for eating breakfast and doing bubbles and such on the day it rained. The washer and dryer and dishwasher worked great. They have a nice library collection of DVDs for you to use while there. The full kitchen was great. Also, for those of you with pet/smoke allergies, it was clean. Parts of it were "older" smelling, but they had air freshener available. Overall, we came home relaxed and refreshed:)

Once you reach Monticello, Kentucky, take Hwy 90W past Wal-Mart , to 92, turn right on to 92W, travel about 1 mile to Hwy 789, turn right (only) onto Hwy 789, toward Camp Earl Wallace to get to rental. Beaver Lodge, Ramsey Point and Attrahunt boat docks are 5-15 minutes away. Several other Marinas with restaurants and various activities and parks are within 15-45 minutes away (i.e., Conley Bottom, Dale Hollow, etc). Our property is safe with security cameras located in several surrounding areas, spacious parking for various recreational equipment (boats, jet skis, etc.), at no additional cost.

No inside smoking or pets of any kind are allowed in the inside of the house, a $300.00 fine will be charged if rule is violated. Also, guests will definitely be charged additionally for any number of persons over the 6 guests maximum per night, no exceptions regardless of age or length of stay. Please DO NOT move the house furniture. This could cause the furniture to break or the carpet to rip. Check-out time is 11:00 A.M., Eastern Standard time. Wash, Dry and Put away all dishes, DO NOT PUT pots and pans in dishwasher. BAG ALL TRASH and put in outside containers before you leave, place bed linen (except comforters) and all dirty towels in laundry basket provided in the stairwell. Make sure all remotes are located where they can be easily found (replacement of lost remotes will be at guests expense). During the Winter leave the thermostat on 55. During the Summer leave the thermostat on 80 and lock the door when you depart. Understand that you are responsible for damages to the rental property and the deposit will be held for all damages that are not normal use and wear and if there is excess cleaning requirements, no exceptions. Security deposit will be returned within 30 days post stay if property is returned in the same condition as when rented. Please be aware that only complimentary toilet tissue, paper towels, soap, lotion and shampoo is furnished, if you feel you need more please bring your own supply. We are not responsible for weather conditions, natural disasters, and natural elements, you are vacationing in the Scenic Wooded area of Lake Cumberland Kentucky. We do everything we can to provide for your comfort and enjoyment; exterminating for bugs and making sure the property is clean and neat as possible. Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund for cancellations more than 14 days before check-in date.
  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 30 days before check-in date.
