Spend evenings enjoying a meal with candle light and watch the cruise ships as they pass on the horizon. Walk the most beautiful 2.5 mile white sand beach holding hands with your honey, often by yourselves.

Take an evening walk on this fantastic beach, under a starry, moonlit sky holding hands with your loved one hearing only the waves lapping the sandy shore and your own voices.

The beach is rock free and so is the water. Kids can safely dig & build sand castles until their hearts are content.

The water is child friendly being shallow with a white sand bottom free of sea grass.

Enjoy a lunch on your private patio with 6 seater patio table and umbrella; grill your own on the gas grill on the patio or 'take-in' as you please.

Further Details: All 3 bedrooms each have a Queen Size bed.Downstairs bedroom has a connecting bathroom.with a bath/shower combination. Upstairs js a full size bthroom with a very large shower stall..

The cottage is on a quiet street away from the main road.

Although I was born in Nassau, Bahamas, my Father was born in Spanish Wells.

As a child I enjoyed virtually every Summer Holiday staying here for weeks at a time with my Grand Mother. Some of my most treasured childhood memories are of these times in Spanish Wells with family and friends.

I consider myself very fortunate to have been able to purchase this beautiful cottage & property that all residents agree is located on the absolute 'best' part of the 'Northside beach'

About The Owner: I am 61 years old and a business owner in partnership with my brother. I enjoy most of all spending time at the cottage relaxing on the beach with a good book. I work very hard and find these little breaks most gratifying.

Why the Owner Chose Spanish Wells:
Having spent so much of my childhood years vacationing here and this being one of the most beautiful locations in The Bahamas, I jumped at the opportunity.

Perfect beach house on a wonderful island

The house is very well equipped for 6 persons and has a fantastic location right by the beach, with a lovely garden shaded by palm trees. We especially appreciated the air condition and fans in all rooms, washer & dryer, stable wifi (despite having 5 teenagers online at the same time!), outdoor table & BBQ and the many beach chairs & loungers. The house was very clean and nicely decorated. A small grocery store and 2 liquor stores are within short walking distance, while the well stocked main grocery store and several restaurants & bars are a few minutes away by golf cart. The beach starts right at the end of the garden, and although narrow (it disappears for a few hours at high tide), it is several km long and almost deserted. You can easily walk to the sandbank at low tide and even at high tide the bay is calm and shallow, perfect for small children. The water was incredibly clear and a vibrant turquoise! We already miss waking up to the sound of the waves and drinking our morning coffee on the beach ☺️

Perfect family vacation

We had a wonderful stay at Island Waves. The house was very clean and well equipped. Both the owner and property manager were extremely helpful with answering our questions and arranging transportation and excursions. The house sits in the most ideal location on the beach, with the sandbar just a stone’s throw away. We loved the laid back and relaxed vibe of the island and everyone was very friendly. We look forward to returning!

Best beach ever

Wonderful house, beach and island for a family vacation. This is our 4th time here and we love it. The owner of the house is so kind, helpful and accommodating. He does everything to make your stay great. Would stay longer if we could.

Absolutely beautiful setting… The water was crystal clear every day! The house is built really well, and we truly enjoyed getting to explore Spanish Wells! A wonderful time! Vaughn was very helpful, and always on top of things!

True Paradise

I would give 10 Stars if I could! Within 48 hours of booking, Vaughn had taken care of our transportation too and from the airport, a golf cart rental, and a boat rental. I was surprised at the amount of effort Vaughn went thru to help us out. It was relaxing to know that everything was taken care of prior to our arrival. I will argue with anybody, that island breezes is the best location in Spanish wells. You are less than a minute golf cart ride away from the grocery store, 2 liquor stores, and 2 restaurants. Everywhere we went was only a couple minutes away! We arrived at the house and were pleasantly surprised at how clean the house was. The house comes with everything you would have in your own home. A nice washer and dryer, a high quality Samsung TV. Outdoor patio furniture for evening meals, and a propane grill. The backyard is the beach! From the back porch you take a short 20 second walk down to the white sand beach. The sandbar on the beach basically creates an enormous swimming pool of calm water, as the during the day the waves are crashing on the sandbar about 100 yards from the shore. Back to the house.. we love to cook, so we were excited to find the kitchen stocked with every type of pan/utensil you could possibly need. The first night of our trip it was stormy weather but we felt cozy in the house. I cannot think of a single complaint. You absolutely cannot go wrong booking this house. It is a “little slice of heaven”. We will absolutely be returning.
