2 storey single family dwelling. The house has three bedrooms 2.5 bathrooms and a private study. The amenities:modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances, washer , dryer. The master bedroom and second bedroom both have king size beds. The 3rd bedroom have a queen size bed. All bedrooms and the study have flat screen televisions. The family room has a large 60" television. The house is close to the main west Bay Street and about 10 minutes from downtown and is centrally located to Atlantis paradise island and the cable beach strip.

Close to beach and walking distance to Arawak

Nice large property with good outdoor space and nearly every facility you could want. We had a couple of minor issues, all of which were attended to and resolved the same day by Ray, what more can you ask!

We had a fantastic time, the villa is perfectly placed for access to Nassau and beaches and Raymond was a fantastic host 5 stars all round

Relaxing family holiday

The property was very spacious, well equipped and exactly as described on the website. Ray & Sonja are excellent hosts, being willing to go the extra yards and always available. The pool was a good size and regularly serviced. The location is good with the local beach (Saunders Beach) being an easy 5 minute stroll away. If you don't have a car, the local bus service will take you into Nassau or Cable Beach for $1.25 pp. Sonja put us onto Cheryls Taxis for our airport pickup and I would have no hesitation is endorsing their recommendation. ($51 each way) For grocery deliveries we used InstaGopher. Thy offered a reliable time specific service but I would just add, as with all things on The Bahamas, they are not cheap. A very enjoyable holiday.

Lovely house, great location

We are a family of 4 and loved this property. The pool is lovely and the house is very well equipped. Sonja and Ray are very friendly, helpful hosts and the house is located in an area that is a short drive to lovely restaurants and beautiful beaches. The local beach (Saunders Beach) has shower and toilet facilities and would be even better if it had a food option. It is literally a 2 minute walk from the house. We rented a car and used it every day to eat at restaurants and visit beaches. Our favourite was The Blue Sail which is opposite the entrance to Sandyport. We went to Cabbage Beach, which is on Paradise Island, several times. Gorgeous white sand beach with turquoise waters and no crowds! There is a fabulous ‘snack’ place which was very reasonable. We found the food shops expensive so be aware that everything is imported which means higher prices. We also went to ‘Tiki Bikini Hut’ which is on the main road in to the capital if you are coming from Saunders Beach. The staff made us feel so welcome and gave us little extras like some mozzarella sticks for my son who wanted some but we didn’t want a whole order. Their coconut shrimp was delicious and if you visit anywhere, you must try the conch fritters. When we went back for a second visit they had remembered our names and what we had ordered. The little things make a big difference. We went on a speedboat tour to swim with pigs which was one of the highlights. We are all scuba divers and we were disappointed with the cost (just over $200 per person for a 2 tank dive) and there was not a lot of marine life. We felt very safe and everyone was wearing face masks. The curfew was lowered to 9 pm during our stay but we just made sure we were in a restaurant by 7pm latest to enjoy an evening meal. If you are looking for a lovely base for your holiday then this house is brilliant. Everything you need to enjoy a day in the pool and cook at home - including a bbq and close to amenities. They have a fantastic table with 4 stools that is perfect for games nights. We spent many hours playing Rummikub after dinner. If we go back to The Bahamas we will definitely stay at this house again!

Beautiful property - great central location

The outside area is wonderful, lovely seating and a great sized pool. There is an undercover area for if it rains. Inside was very comfortable and had most things we needed. Sonja was great, she arranged a taxi pick up & drop for the airport. On pick up we stopped for groceries and drink - please note liquor is sold in separate shops ! So much to do on this island but a car strongly recommended to get around from this location.
