Neglected Cabin
Upon arrival the Hot tub was half full of nasty water. We reported to Owner, they answered quickly and sent a service person, more issues with hot tub... we did get to use the hot tub on day three. All exterior windows were dirty, which effected the view. Very deep dog claw marks in the woodwork around all interior doors. Black water marks around dining window where there had been a leak. The worst of the worse was the mattress! The mattress was covered with large brown and yellow stains! It was disgusting! Definitely a health code violation. There was a mattress cover, but it was not zipped/ sealed, just a worn out cover flopping over the urine soaked mattress. We reported all the issues, more than I've mentioned here. The only thing addresses was the hot tub. We let them know we were not at all happy and wanted to find another place, they did not offer ANY refund. They did let us know their growing family relied on this income, which sounded more like emotional manipulation at the time. This was not a "New Cabin" as advertised. FYI: the pool looked good, but it is not heated. We were not able to use it. :( I would NOT recommend a stay here!
