Are you ready to relax? Enjoy some fresh air, see the stars, take in the mountain views? Then it's time to come for a stay at Rich Mountain Retreat. Sitting on six acres the house and surrounding land give you plenty of room to decompress. Enjoy the rocking chairs on the front porch, while you listen to the sounds of the forest.
The interior of this home lends itself to a refreshing, crisp clean feel with elegant style. All on one level with an open floor plan, vaulted ceiling in living room, central heat and air. Easy access with minimal steps. This home has been remodeled top to bottom, new oven added, and a new master suite bathroom. Located on a quiet country road it is convenient to both Ellijay and Blue Ridge.
Only fifteen minutes away from two of the main rivers; the Cartecay or Toccoa for tubing, canoeing, kayaking, fishing or relaxing. Hike right out your front door into Rich Mountain Wilderness or a short fifteen minute drive down the road takes you to Springer Mountain where the beginning of the famous Appalachian Trail starts or the Benton MacKaye Trail.
Whatever your needs or wishes, Molly, the owner, will be happy to assist you with any special requests or arrangements for that important occasion - anniversary, birthday, honeymoon or romantic getaway.
Please note horses are rotated to other pastures throughout the year.

A real home from home

The location is stunning, the cabin is very well equipped and furnished, it really felt like home rather than just a rental for the 5 nights my wife and I spent there. Days were spent in the mountains, walks from the cabin, or touring round to Amicalola Falls and up to Blue Ridge followed by early evening BBQ`s back at the cabin with a glass or two of wine watching the sun go down. Perfect end to our 2 week vacation in Georgia.

Anniversary Weekend Getaway

Great little cabin to get away from it all for the weekend. Secluded with great views of the North Georgia mountains and still close enough to town for shopping and restaurants. Comfortable, clean, and quiet.

Beautiful and peaceful location

This cabin stay was just what we needed. The mountain views were beautiful and it was so quiet and peaceful. The water heater had a minor issue and the host responded immediately and had it repaired right away. We would definitely stay here again.
