Charming and Convevient

The apartment is located in a very pleasant part of London - Belsize Park. It is spacious, clean, well equipped and located 3 minutes away from the underground station. Carol-anne is a wonderful host and is always ready to help. We will be happy to stay there again.

Quiet, practical, nice, well-kept, fast into town

The Belsize Park tube station is an easy 5-minute walk. It is on the Northern Line, 2 to 6 stops from many places you’ll want to go in town. 50 steps away is delicious food from morning to late night at the new “Tish” restaurant; there’s also an adjacent burger place we didn’t try. Almost across the street is the Budgens supermarket. 1 tube stop away at Hampstead, EE will outfit your mobile phone with a UK SIM card at a very fair price (open 10 to 5), and the superb French bakery “Paul” beckons. The apartment is spotlessly clean. It has an excellent new 7-kilogram washer and a separate clothes dryer. The kitchen is complete with hob and dishwasher if you’re cooking and has a big refrigerator-freezer, microwave, and superfast water boiler if you are not. There’s a 5-foot glass-topped dining table in the big main room, a couch, big TV, and day-bed/ kid’s bed, a good closet, and very ample clean drawer space. Your bed is American queen-size with a big warm duvet; it is very comfortable. We slept well. The bathroom has a shower, a separate tub with Euro hand spray, a twin sink, and a toilet that gave us no trouble. The apartment is light and airy and also includes full privacy roller shades. It’s on an untraveled small side street that is blissfully quiet day and night. Everyone is friendly, and host Carol-anne and manager Mia are sweet and accommodating. The only downside here is the narrow 2-flight stairway with split-step turns—there is no lift here. We are both in our seventies and were glad that Mia and Carol-Anne helped us up and down with our baggage.

Relaxed holiday in London

Dear Carol-anne, thank you very much for your warm welcome and your hospitality. We had an amazing time in London and enjoyed so much the relaxing atmosphere of your apartment. It was very clean and perfectly equipped so that our vacation started immediately on arrival. The house is located in a quiet and beautiful area of London close to Primrose Hill where you have a wonderful view to the city. All you need for your daily life is very close to the house, including supermarket, bakery, restaurants and the subway station. We would love to come back for a second visit.

Lovely spacious flat in a good location

We really enjoyed our stay in this nicely sized apartment. Storage was plentiful for our belongings and it was great to have a washer and dryer available. Belsize park had a good little grocery store and the tube station is close by. Communication with the owner and manager was smooth and quick. We would definitely stay again!

Hello and welcome to my world! As a young school leaver, I fell into the restaurant business, which I did for 12 years and really loved it, I worked my way up to managing a local restaurant, where my son was practically born, luckily I made it to hospital in time, he is now 28 and has presented me with my first grandchild, they live in Barcelona where I hope to add another apartment to the 'stable'. Bringing up my son meant a career change, I became a food stylist, then a stylist, which led to a very low rung of costume design in movies, as I got older I decided to take a risk and switch to Make Up Artist as I always loved that side of the business, also I noticed they left the set hours before I did! and I was getting a little long in the tooth to stand for hours on end on a shoot... Well I inherited this property from my lovely grandpa who came to this country from Poland with just the clothes on his back, and made good as the saying goes. He always said this house would be mine one day, but I never realized he meant it, but he made good on his word, so when my son was six, we moved into the ground floor. There were seven tenants on the two floors above, it was noisy! as the years went by and the tenants left, I didn't replace them, but started converting the house into the 3 lovely apartments they are today. I live on the ground floor and always here to help. Though these days I am a frequent traveller to Barcelona to see my darling Clementine, then I will leave you in the capable hands of my second in command Mia..

Its a beautiful Edwardian house, with large windows that let in a lot of light, its what I love most about it. I have lavished a lot of love and care on this place over the years. I really treasure this place and I hope you will too.
