House is 220m2 with 4 terraces can be used so comfortably for 2 to 10 people. You can use the downstairs which has a separate kitchen, dining room, living and an extra TV room with a mezzanine with 3.5 bathrooms total. Very functional and convenient home.
Property is 2 minute walking distance to the village through a private path from the property and is ideal for families, couples or cycling and biking groups featuring 5000m2 of secluded land yet a short stroll takes you to dine at over a dozen restaurants for all budgets, also bars, shopping, circus, arts & crafts fairs, sporting events and concerts.
Each room offers stunning views of Mont Ventoux, the largest mountain in the region, a cyclists’ and hikers’ paradise it offers free private secured parking for all guests. Each space has very fast free Wi-Fi and a kitchenette (in addition to main kitchen) with microwave, fridge, coffee machine, kettle, plates, bowls, silverware, wine and champagne glasses to offer more independence.
Every suite has a country Provence feel with a private dining area and an extra large terrace with lounging chairs and tables, great views and total privacy. There is bike and luggage storage with your own key.
A multitude of activities are offered in the area from cycling, swimming, hiking, wine tasting as there are over a hundred vineyards such as Chateauneuf-du-Pape, Vacqueryas, Beaumes-de-Venise, Gigondas minutes away by car.
All around Bédoin are a multitude of picturesque Provencal villages, landmarks such as the Palais des Papes, markets, arts and crafts as well as more than 18 Relais & Chateaux such as the Château de Rochegude all within 30 miles, beautiful properties transformed into culinary gastronomic heavens. The drive to Avignon theater, arts and music festivals takes approx. 35 minutes. Marseille airport is about 1h15 away.
The backdrop to the house is the stunning views of the mountain with vineyards, cherry orchards, olive groves and fields of lavender providing wonderful walking and cycling from your doorstep. This is a nature lovers and birdwatchers paradise. We are surrounded by fields and nestled upon a hill overlooking the village and the famous Mont Ventoux yet just a short walk to the village.
In addition, there are hikes, easy walks and strolls with more than 4000 kilometers of hiking paths and trails crossing Mont Ventoux to the Luberon Hills. You will come across typical stone villages, with an inviting cool stream or red ochre hills surrounded by ancient cypress trees, which characterize the region, and fertile plains perfumed with the scents of Provence. Horse riding: For experienced riders who want to ride through the countryside on their own there are immense possibilities on a wide network of marked trails. Canoeing and Kayaking: Vaucluse is the home of beautiful waterways. The Sorgue River and Fontaine-de-Vaucluse are oasis of cool water on a hot summer day, you can even paraglide from Le-Barroux.
