These exclusive villas really couldn't be in a better position if your idea of a holiday is to have everything at hand. The beach is right on the doorstep and you'll never be short of things to do. Each villa has a lounge/dining room, one, two three or four double bedrooms, a wood panelled kitchen with oven, grill and fridge/ freezer. Each villa also has its own private patio or garden with everything to make a great barbecue. Linen and towels are all provided. You can have your own maid service and a babysitter if you need one.

Your night life can be as hectic or relaxed as you want to make it at any of the three bars, two restaurants or nightclub. Tire of them and the local bus service can whisk you to Malaga and Algeciras. If you want to let your hair down, there's a hairdresser to get it back into shape again. Villacana now boasts a coin-operated laundry and drying room. Also to make life easier, we now have on site, a hire shop where you can hire anything from a baby buggy to a beach ball!

We have our own office on-site, where you can change money and book excursions. Malaga airport is less than one hour away by car, as is Gibraltar.

Beautiful, safe and perfect for small children

Very pretty and well looked after site with wonderful gardens and a secluded feel.

We stayed on Calle Patricia which is about two rows back from the main pool and cafe area. The apartment had everything we needed and was a perfect size for us and our two boys of 5 & 3. The apartment was clean but had taken a good few knocks over the years... which actually just meant that we were not so concerned about the children trashing anything.

The front and back gardens gave the children somewhere to hide from the midday sun and was a lovely setting for evening meals in the warm evenings. There is a team of gardeners working daily to keep the grass green and flowers bright despite the hot weather.

All of the pools are gated off with glass walls and there are no roads within the site itself, allowing us to feel completely safe letting the children just run and play. The regular waiving security guards on patrol just added to this feeling of being in a very safe environment.

The beach can be reached directly from the main green and although opens out onto a stone beach a short 5 minute walk to the left brings you out onto lovely soft sand. There were southerly winds the time we were there which brought in rollers that were too large for our children to venture into the sea although it was great for the boarders and kite surfers. Not that this mattered as they just wanted to be in the pool all day long anyway.

The shop on site sells pretty much everything you could need although perhaps not always on the day that you want it... They seem to have small deliveries daily which can make it a bit hit and miss as to what is available.

The only thing I thought the site lacked was a dedicated place that the children could kick a ball about in or play park space.

Noise was a big worry of mine before we went and in the most part it wasn't too bad. The noise from the bars can be heard but isnt really excessive and tends to have definitely stopped by 23:30. The same cannot really be said for the other guests.. Although this isnt really a criticism of the site.. just some inconsiderate people. I would strongly suggest if possible that you hire an upstairs apartment, partly to give you some distance from the pathways/neighboring gardens (and the lads that have had a few too many at 4am) but also just the noise of people moving around upstairs can be loud.

I definitely think we will return and in truth.. the children never wanted to leave, which says it all.

casa pulita,ordinata, vicino alla spiaggia, piscina grande, bar, ristoranti.

terrazza con vista mare.

Villacana is situated on the beach and is between San Pedro and Estepona on the main coast road the N 7 which runs straight to Malaga and Gibraltar. It is in easy reach of Puerto Banus and Marbella. There is a little village called Cancelada right opposite the complex and is within easy walking distance. Here you will find plenty of bars and restaurants and shops. Nearby there is a shopping complex and also a Four Star Hotel.
