Great location, everything we needed.

It’s moments from the beech which was fab and an easy walk to Santa Monica Pier (4 mins away). Free parking. Lovely host. Despite being in the mix it is a super quiet location. We were perhaps a little too cosy for 5 of us but that’s just us. Lovely welcome basket. I watched hummingbirds from the private patio (look up at the nectar feeder). Thank you Dayle.

Fab stay

Property was excellent for us, 2 adults and 2 teens (15&13). Sofa bed and pull out single upstairs. We could walk everywhere we needed or Uber to anything a bit further out. Dayle was very helpful. Especially when I blew the power trying to use my UK hairdryer! Tips for first time brits- bring a voltage converter adapter!! (There is hairdryer available in the room-I just wanted mine as needed diffuser). Excellent stay would definitely recommend.

Fantastic place to stay, clean comfortable, everything you need when away from home. The location could not be better, feel very lucky we got to stay here.

Fantastic property in great location

We stopped here for just under a week to have a relaxing time midway through a road trip. The house is ideally located to easily walk or bike around Santa Monica and Venice so no need to have a car during your stay unless you're venturing further afield. If you do have a car the parking permit included is great and we managed to get parked outside of the house every day. Property itself is really clean, tidy and stocked with everything you need for your stay. Bikes, scooters and beach gear were all well used by us as well as the BBQ and washer dryer. Our only slight reservation prior to booking was the lack of pool but the beaches are great and Annenberg community pool is well worth checking out if you want to have a day off. Overall we'd highly recommend the house, we stayed with two daughters (13 and 9) and it was certainly big enough. Lots of restaurants and cafes nearby, Bruno's Italian around the corner has a nice seating area out the back to catch a bit of sunset with excellent value food and Cha Cha chicken is also well priced And delicious. Lastly, the review before us is correct about there being a bit of homelessness but way off in terms of needing to walk about in a big group. Not sure where they're from but we didn't feel unsafe at all on a night while walking around and saw no sign of any issues (other than the aroma of weed on the breeze!).
