Hiking trails and XC ski trails are a short walk from the house nearby at Black Mt, and many options for all levels of expertise in the Mt. Washington Valley. Mt. Washington/Pinkham Notch Base Camp is a quick scenic 15 mins drive from the house. You can hike/drive up Mt. Washington by day and relax on the back deck, grilling dinner in the eve, overlooking the Brook. Jackson, NH is in the Heart of the White Mountains and the center of the NH Area Attractions. Storyland is a short 8 mins drive, and new Living Aquarium too.
