Great Villa, great resort, location and community!

Firstly the owner, Sam, really good communication and very helpful with every query. Secondly the booking process on the whole was seamless and simple. Then we move on to the accommodation...we loved it! The house is great and far more spacious that the pictures suggest. All beds were made with quality bedding and were very clean and comfortable. The living/ dining area was just right and perfect for the 6 of us to spend time together without feeling cramped. The kitchen was just right and was kitted out better than any other place we’ve stayed at. All in all we have had a very positive experience with the owner and the accommodation and I would actually buy a villa at this resort it was that good!! I would stay at this villa again without any hesitation and would recommend it to everyone. I must just add though that having read some of the reviews and comments about the property needing a deep clean etc etc that you have to remember it is a holiday home! We found the property to be spotless and yes if you want to spend your holiday studying the decor and carpets you will find the odd mark here and there but hey I can also find them at my own home!! Keep your expectations realistic and you will have a wonderful time. Thanks again Sam we will book with you again.

Lovely location, shame about the villa, rundown and in need of a deep clean.

The good: Location was perfect and resort bar and pool was really good, we enjoyed most evenings. The bad. Villa needed a deep clean, baseboards were filthy and cupboards were full of crumbs. Pillows and bedding were stained. Kitchen sink had a leak with a bowl for stagnant water to sit. In a villa that sleeps 8 only 6 bowls plates cups that were chipped and stained. No wine glasses or corkscrew (we bought and left) no hairdryer. Washing machine didn't spin properly and all towels were to washed and dried on departure day, impossible with the machine. Scuff marks all over walls and bathrooms with mould in the seal. Couch was at the end of its natural life and was stained. The AC was controlled by management too cold upstairs and warm downstairs?! Really poorly maintained. I did send all of this feedback to Sam who's reply was that guests don' t look after things and it costs a lot of money to maintain and we are lower end of budgets. Fair enough, but, we knew this was a budget villa however we still expected basic cleanliness. My advice would be to avoid this particular villa if you have standards but find another one on this site as its a really great location. We have visited Florida every year for the last 7 years this by far has been the worst villa we have stayed in.

Review - A Great Deal Is Wrong

Did not provide enough towels sets. No manual about the unit. Did not notify us in advance about: How TV System Worked - That there was no food pantry - no storage space for food - Two shelves in the Refrigerator were broken and not useable - the sliding glass door was blocked by an oversized couch - were not told lawn chairs had to be white - we didn't like the thermostat constantly being raised without our knowledge - once found it set for 90 degrees - Not Good - Absentee Ownership - Never came in contact with us. Saw maid for 10 minutes - during almost 2 month stay.
