About this property

You won't want to leave our cute and cozy gulf front cottage, which we've named 'Can't Wait'....

We are 'right on the sand' as they say, but also walking distance to shopping, restaurants and more. Our home is a ground level cottage, located on a quiet street with a wonderful sunporch. You won't believe the views... whether it's first thing in the morning or at sunset.

Our deck by the beach is one of the favorite amenities of 'Can't Wait'. It's a great place to have your morning coffee, watch the dolphins swim by or the beachwalkers stroll by or celebrate the end of the day sunset.

You will find all the conviences of home. We usually spend the 8 weeks at our cottage in the fall. So, we have a well stocked kitchen with microwave, dishwasher and icemaker, a propane gas grill (propane guest's responsiblity), a washer and dryer, highspeed wireless internet and unlimited long distance (US & Canada).

We are also just a short walk down the beach to 'Cafe on the Beach', which is where we go for our traditional first breakfast on Anna Maria and Skinny's a great dive bar with terrific burgers and the coldest beer on the Island.

So come and enjoy the sounds of the surf, the sand in your feet and the wonderful Florida sun, in our wonderful beachfront cottage. 7 night minimum stay.

Occupancy is limited to 6, this is due to zoning in Holmes Beach. 2 parking spots are available on site. No pets allowed. Non smoking cottage.

Quaint cottage on the gulf

Enjoyed a relaxing beach vacation. Easy access to many shops and eateries. Dolphin and surfing, family fun in the sun.

beach front cottage

The house was located right on the beach and had a nice back deck perfect for watching the evening sunset with out even getting your toes sandy. There was tons of shade all day. The kitchen was small but had everything we needed. The rooms were appropriately furnished to sleep 6. The king bed was a little firm for me but my husband didn't mind. The 2 bathrooms are shower only which isn't a problem if that is what your little kids are used to. The house is 3 blocks from the grocery store and other restaurants and shops. The only reason I didn't give this house 5 stars is because it is located right next to a public beach entrance with parking so you hear car doors slamming early in the morning and into the evening. It also significantly reduced the privacy factor. Overall, we had a really great time.

Awesome stay… Can’t Wait is paradise!

We visit this area once each year, and absolutely loved the convenient location of the house. Walk out the back door, and you’re on the beach. The house was well appointed, clean, and met all of our needs. The backyard is very spacious, and provides shade from the hot sun. Conveniently located to everything we needed for shopping: souvenirs, pharmacies, groceries, donut shop, and the liquor store. There was ample parking for our rental car and golf cart. This is definitely a home we would love to rent again in the near future. Thank you Tom and Bonnie.

Tom and I live in beautiful Northern Michigan. We love spring, summer and fall in Michigan and enjoy gardening, boating, long walks and travel. Tom is a University of Michigan Grad and Bonnie is a Michigan State University Grad so football and basketball seasons are a lot of fun.

Why they chose this property

We were visiting friends in Florida, and Tom was training for a marathon, the last thing we thought we would do was buy a vacation home. But we looked at the real estate magazines and went out for 1/2 a day with Lisa our realtor, and fell in love with 'Can't Wait' and Anna Maria. We have never regretted our quick decision to buy a piece of paradise.

What makes this property unique

We always walk down to Cafe on the Beach at the County Park the first morning we are there. We enjoy eating outside on the beach and the casual atmosphere. We also spend a lot of time on our deck by the water enjoying a couple of cocktails while watching the amazing sunsets.

We love that we are walking distance to the Publix grocery store and 5 or 6 great restaurants - including the best German restaurant outside of Germany and the best Sushi Bar in Southwest Florida.

We rarely have to get in the car, once we park it in our driveway.
