About this property

If you're looking for a place to relax and enjoy a clean, air-conditioned, beach front home on your own private beach you've come to the right place. The Coral Beach Retreat is a 4 bedroom 3 bath home located on the white sand beach of First Bight Roatan, Bay Islands of Honduras.
The upstairs features a large open concept kitchen and living area with wrap around covered deck and tremendous ocean views. The Master Bedroom is also on the 2nd floor and has a great view as well. The lower level has 3 bedrooms a small kitchenette and 2 baths. 2 of the 3 bedrooms also have ocean views. Just outside your lower bedrooms you will enjoy the white sand and hammocks which are perfect for lazing the day away.
Rental Amenities: Private beach frontage and gardens, a/c, ceiling fans, Internet, TV, 2 kitchens, BBQ and Beach front Tiki Hut,Snorkel Gear, and 2 double kayaks.
Contols for Air conditioners are provided for surcharge of $175 per week (or $25/day) due to high cost of electricity on the island. Additional fans are provided.

We had a really wonderful time!!! Frank is very helpful and kind! Every time we need him,he was there, always very fast!! The house is great and comfortable! The only thing was the weather... in January rains a lot!!!! But, even that we could enjoy the house and the place!!!

Amazing spot in Roatan

This was the perfect place for our family vacation (5 adults 2 kids). The house was great (comfortable beds, great AC, stocked kitchen), but the property and location was really the best part. Our kids loved the colorful lights that in the pool at night, and we couldn't get over seeing caribbean reef octopuses a few yards off of the beach most evenings ! the snorkeling right off the property was phenomenal too (we saw a nurse shark, sting ray, lobster, eel, and lots of fish), and the dock at the end of the road made for great splashes and potential turtle feeding sightings. The location was a close enough drive to tons of great outings, beaches, and a couple of restaurants, and Dave the property manager was phenomenal - extremely helpful, responsive, and respectful of our time.

Privacy in paradise

We enjoyed our stay in Coral house. The house was clean and the location was right on the water with the reef within easy swimming distance. Kayaks were available and a large bay within an easy paddle. Lots of sea life to observe. Frank and Susan were great hosts and helped us with anything we needed. Adelberto lives on the property and looks after things, he is very helpful but only speaks Spanish. You will want to rent a sturdy car as the roads in Roatan are not in good repair. Keep in mind you are on a remote island and may not have all the amenities of a Sandals resort. If you like a little adventure while on vacation, This is a fun place to stay.

Great Price for a Great Property

Our second stay at this place. This is our 8th trip to Roatan. There is no better bargain. The property has four bedrooms; two of them with their own private bathroom. A washer and dryer. Full kitchen. Snorkeling supplies. Kayak. And best of all, infiniti edge pool. Yes, things could be updated but EVERYTHING is in good shape. If you want perfect finishes, plan to pay 2-3x more for a different house. Frank, the point person on the island had great communication and was responsive to every need. Likely not our last visit to Beach House!

Why they chose this property

We wanted a quiet private tropical place on the ocean to escape the fast pace hustle and bustle in the states, a place where we can read in peace and sleep with no other sounds, but the ocean. And still the ability to go the other side of the island where there are more activities.
