Lovely property in a beautiful area
So glad we managed to book this lovely guesthouse in such an idyllic spot. Overlooking the lake at the front with a vineyard at the back. Initially there was a problem with the WiFi but this was rectified immediately by Ed. The owners made us most welcome and took the time to get to know us. We had a lovely tour of the vineyard with Ed explaining the science behind it all. Brenda and Ed gave us lots of tips on where to visit while we stayed in Lake Country and checked that we had everything that we needed. There were even beach towels, chairs and mats for us to use when we visited the lakes.
The property was spotless. The kitchen was fully equipped and there is a good sized washer and dryer. All the beds were very comfortable and the air conditioning was a lovely bonus.
The bakery next door was very convenient for many things including meals as well as baked goods. There are also shops and restaurants nearby.
We visited a local farm which we all enjoyed as we got to hold baby kangaroos! My young adults even managed to take kangaroo selfies!!
I would not hesitate to recommend this property to everyone. We hope that we will be able to visit here again in the future. There is an airport close by so you could fly in from another area if you didn't want to do any long drives to get to Lake Country. I would however recommend a hire car to get around in as there are plenty of places of interest and things to see and do.
This really is a lovely property which is spotlessly clean in a beautiful area. Sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine in the evening or having a cup of tea in the morning is a most refreshing and relaxing way to start and/or finish your day.
Thank you Brenda and Ed for letting us stay here.
