Tropical Oasis with Private Heated Pool and Spa

Thanks for looking at my listing! My house is located in Coral Ridge, one of the best neighborhoods in Fort Lauderdale. It is in a perfect location - far enough away from main thoroughfares to be quiet, but within walking distance of the beach, malls, and many restaurants.

If you rent the house, you'll enter the living room first - and in front of you will be a wall of glass doors, through which you'll see the pool, waterfall, and spa. It's pretty awesome both during the day and especially at night, and it's why I bought the house. On nice days the doors can be slid to the side, creating an expansive opening.

The living room is equipped with a 60' LCD LED TV with 3D capability, Blu-ray player, and surround sound. And you'll be sure to find your favorite shows with high definition cable with 320 channels.

The French Country kitchen is fully equipped with everything you'd need to prepare meals. The appliances are stainless steel, and include a wine cooler and dishwasher.

There are three very spacious bedrooms, all of which are easily large enough for king-sized beds. All bedrooms are equipped with 40 inch LED LCD TVs, with Blu-ray players and upgraded high definition cable. King beds are present in the master suite and the 'green room', and two twins (which may be exchanged with a king upon request) are found in the 'grey room'.

The dining room overlooks the patio/garden area, with a table that normally seats 6. Table can be expanded to seat 8 guests.

The patio, the pool, and the hot tub are new. The patio is travertine marble, with a dining area, a sitting area, and 4 lounge chairs. Gas grille is located on the patio. The back is completely surrounded by tropical plants and is entirely private. The pool and hot tub are heated and controlled by remote control.

Our home is clean, safe, and ready for guests' arrival.

Ideal holiday home.

A beautiful home in a great location. You are close to everything here, however I can honestly say we hardly left the house. My six year old twins were more than happy to spend their days splashing in the pool. The garden is gorgeous and completely private, very relaxing. The house itself is larger than it appears in the pictures, incredibly well equipped and immaculately clean. When I struggled to get the stove to work, a lovely friendly man was there within the hour to sort it out for me. This house is fabulous and I hope I get to visit it again one day.

Peaceful and good location

We are a family of 4 from the UK with two teenagers and stayed a week. This is a well appointed property with everything provided. Small touches like having dishwasher tablets and washing powder already there makes a nice change where normally you have to go and buy all this when you arrive. It was useful to have a comprehensive manual on how everything worked. The bedrooms are spacious and it was great for each teenager to have their own space. The living area is nice and relaxing and having fast wifi was clearly a big bonus for our two teenagers! The pool area is a great hideaway from the world with all the tropical planting. The spa is a nice addition to unwind your aches and pains from a day out. Just need to be aware all the foliage does attract all the mosquitos especially in the evening. Regarding mosquitos we advise keeping the doors to the poor area shut to avoid them in the house. The location is very good to be able to get to things quickly. Perhaps a suggestion would be as well as having a manual on how the house works, it would have been great to have had a folder with a local map in showing where everything is and ideas on best restaurants, beaches etc. There is both a Target and Publix just down the road for shopping. The beaches are only 5-15 mins away but finding somewhere to park initally we found difficult as there is very limited parking on the sea front. Where the car parks are would be another great thing for the folder. In terms of things we enjoyed doing included, Sawgrass Mills (a massive mall with over 350 discount stores) for retail therapy, ride on an air boat at Sawgrass recreation park, Jungle queen boat cruise (90 mins) to see how the other half live, International swimming museum and Coconuts restaurant next door, waterskiing at McGinnis Water Ski and time on the lovely beaches. Overall a lovely stay in a nice house with a good location Malcolm and family

The perfectly private and comfortable FTL getaway!

This was one of those special homes that you never want to leave. The owners clearly understand what it means to rent a property the right way. Every box was checked...extremely clean inside and out, well stocked kitchen, super comfy beds, and a stunning patio with the most wonderful pool and jacuzzi tub ever! They thought of everything and it shows. Great communication as well. My friends and I enjoyed every single minute here and I would highly recommend this home to anyone and everyone! Thanks!

Outstanding!

My family and I had the ultimate stay at this beautiful and clean home for over three weeks. The property offers the finest of everything (a private, peaceful tropical oasis coupled with a superb location, close and convenient to all the best the area has (beaches, shopping, dining, movie theater, several other attractions)). We felt comfortably accommodated with plenty of space for six of us and our two small pups. The luxurious bedding and hand/ bath soaps, shampoo / conditioner, and toilet paper, etc. that were generously provided were nice touches and were appreciated. When we weren’t relaxing in the gorgeous pool/spa or enjoying walks / bike rides in the neighborhood, we had fun exploring other nearby attractions. Mary Ellen was highly responsive to any questions we had and did not hesitate to offer great suggestions related to our stay. Being based at this location allowed us to experience the close beautiful beaches (Lauderdale by the Sea/ Fort Lauderdale Beach), visit a dozen fabulous restaurants (some of our favorites included, Shooters, Cafe Seville (easy walk from the house), Casablanca Cafe, El Camino) as well as several other attractions in the area including: The Bonnet House, Hugh Taylor Birch State Park, NSU Art Museum, a concert at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, etc. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would love to visit again.

Great Holiday get away

This was a perfect spot for our family of 5. It is in a great neighborhood, quiet, and close to lots of restaurants, shopping, and the wonderful coast. We found the home to be very clean and well stocked with towels, paper products, and kitchen supplies. I have never seen a kitchen so well stocked from small appliances to casserole dishes. There is also both a keurig and a regular coffee maker. The owner is quick to respond to questions. The hot tub and pool are both beautiful and was awesome on the cool nights. The beach is close enough to bike but the traffic was heavy, we drove and never had a problem parking at Fort Lauderdale beach. We will definitely be returning.
