Beautiful apartment with great roof top terrace

Overall we had a nice stay and enjoyed the beautiful apartment and it’s good location. The rooftop terrace and the barbecue are great. As we like to cook we had some challenges as the dishwasher and the exhaust fan did not work during our stay. Even the jacuzzi on the terrace did not heat up the first day, but this issue was fixed. It is good to know that here people seem not to use dishwashers as they have maids washing for them.

the pictures of the property really does not do justice to the apartment, first class appliances and to my opinion the best beach destination in the world. also mari carmen the owner was more than helpful in getting us settled in the property , she really is a first class host

Beautiful accommodations, location, service...todo.

This is a wonderful property. Even better in person than in the photos. We dined at all the recommended restaurants and enjoyed the beach just steps away. Thank you.

Un endroit formidable, très bien situé. Plage extraordinaire. Le penthouse offre tout le confort et les commodités pour des vacances de rêves. Ramona offre un service exceptionnel hors du commun. La communication avec la propriétaire Mari Carmen est facile, et est l’écoute de nos besoins. Ce fut des vacances de rêves !! WOW!!!!

Why they chose this property

This penthouse is one of a kind in Balcones. It has an amazing roof terrace with jacuzzi and outdoor kitchen/bbq with breathtaking mountain and sea views. Samana, the region, is more than just a beach. It has waterfalls, an amazing national park visited by humpback whales each year, amazing birdlife. Las Terrenas town is laid back, verging on shabby chic. A curious mix of French & Italian vibes with the Dominican's fabulous culture. Lots of smiling faces. The French so love the place they have been living here for 20 years and even set up their own have the French Caribbean to choose from and yet they choose Samana. Makes you wonder, right?
