Hot Tub! Gorgeous Waterfront on Harbor with Private Dock

As you walk into 'Port's' main level, you are consumed by panoramic views of the harbor. Step out onto the deck and you can smell the ocean air and feel as though you can reach out and touch the boats in the harbor.

The open floor plan allows you to soak in the views whether you're cooking in the kitchen, relaxing in the sitting area or dining at the table with family and friends. The galley-style kitchen has lots of prep and cupboard space and stainless steel appliances. Reminiscent of a yacht, 'Port' has crisp white walls and natural wood accents, including exposed beams and natural wood ceiling, To top it off, this area is tastefully furnished with comfy couches and leather accents. The upper level offers an open loft bedroom with double bed and overstuffed chair. And in the lower level you'll find the master bedroom with hot tub on private patio overlooking the harbor, a full bath with granite sink, laundry and a second bedroom with twin bed plus a twin trundle.

Come to the 'Quiet Side': 'Port' is situated on the shore in the quaint village of Southwest Harbor. From 'Port' you can take a stroll into town and explore unique shops, fabulous restaurants, museums, antique shops, an oceanarium, and much more.. Away from the Crowds, Close to Everything!: Situated on the 'quiet side' of Mount Desert Island, you can enjoy the real Downeast Maine away from the crowds, but still be within minutes of world-famous Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. You can explore all that the park has to offer by yourself, take a guided tour or take Mount Desert Island's bus, the 'Island Explorer', available to the public free of charge! Destinations include just about anywhere you want to go on the island. There are a number of outfitters located on Mount Desert Island that rent bicycles and kayaks as well. Just fifteen miles to Bar Harbor and you can enjoy a wide variety of activities from the most relaxed to the most rigorous, dining for all tastes and budgets, and shopping in many unique shops and galleries. Regardless of your interests, 'Port' and the surrounding attractions are sure to make for a fulfilling vacation!

The rates are lower, the crowds have left, the weather is comfortable and the foliage is spectacular!!! Acadia National Park is rated among the best places in the United States to view fall foliage!

Million dollar views and great location
To us, the location a short drive south of Bar Harbor was key. We didn’t want to be in the middle of the tourist bustle that is Bar Harbor, but also didn’t want to be so “off grid” that we’d feel too isolated. Southwest Harbor checked all those boxes. Just enough locally without compromising tranquility. The place was great. Amazing view. Good kitchen and bath arrangements. Gas BBQ on the deck that we used one night to grill some steaks to go with the lobsters we got to go from Beales a 4 minute drive from the unit. :)

Wonderful stay. Great location.
We really enjoyed our stay in this home and location. We had everything we needed in the condo. We did not hear our neighbors at all. The loft stairs are a little tricky but we had adult children manuvering the stairs so it worked out. There is a BR in the downstairs next to the main BR if you have youngsters. The views are outstanding. Don't miss a sunset. Some mornings there is fog so when it's clear you won't want to miss it. Beautiful. We would stay again and definitely recommend.

Summer get away
Had a great time. Weather was very warm. The area and park was fantastic. A few things we saw that we think could help. Sun blocking curtains in upstairs. Need new can opener. Overall except for the heat we had a great time. Would truly come back and stay again. Oh hot tub was a favorite too.
