Old Hickory cabin sits on 4 wooded acres with a large deck in back that overlooks the woods (and hickory trees) and a small creek in the valley. You will feel like you're in a tree house with the views below. It's a great place to bird watch and spot the abundant wildlife.
Just inside the front door, to the left, you'll find the living room is one step up. It features a 2 story Brown County stone fireplace, cathedral ceilings, wide plank pine flooring with hand cut nails. You will immediately notice the french doors that open onto the deck. While you're relaxing inside, you will enjoy amenities such as Wi-Fi, a 43' flat screen smart TV, Roku with Hulu and Disney Plus, CD stereo and a couch that opens into a queen bed.
The entry, kitchen and bathroom are on the main level and have tiled floors. The entry has a large wonderful 'old hickory' style coat rack with a mirror.
The custom cabinets are unique and have tin inserts in the upper doors. The kitchen is well furnished with cooking and eating utensils. The full bathroom contains a tub/shower unit, single sink, toilet and plenty of storage.
The upstairs bedroom has great views too. A brand new (2022) memory foam mattress, 'old hickory' twig style headboard and handmade quilt add to the rustic charm of this cabin. You'll find the cabin is well thought out and the 1000 sq ft floor plan makes good use of the space.
