The home is located in the Diamond Bell Ranch development 19 miles south of Tucson off of Hwy. 86. In the 1970's the ranch was divided into one and one half acre lots. This 2000 sq ft. home is nestled in the saguaro cactus and mesquite trees with spectacular views of Kitt Peak and the Baboquivari Mountain range.
Nearby attractions include the International known Sonoran Desert Museum, Old Tucson, the National Observatory at Kitt Peak, the San Xavier Mission and many, many more.

The home is ideally located for walking, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding or just sitting and listening to the quiet. The wildlife is abundant in the mornings and evenings with breathtaking views of the endless night sky filled with stars.

In the flavor of the Wild, Wild, West - this home is decorated in western decor so come and kick off your boots and enjoy the southwest atmosphere.

Tucson desert getaway

Spacious beautiful adobe home with an impressive outdoor space that includes a HUGE patio with tables for morning & evening enjoyment. Beds were comfy, place was immaculate, a fully stocked kitchen with homemade banana bread provided by the host and so much more. The AZ room was a perfect hangout place to enjoy views of the mountains with glass on 3 sides. The one limitation is that you are 12 minutes from the local grocery/hardware/gas station and 30 minutes from south Tucson. But you just plan accordingly.

Quiet Desert Home

Home is just as listed. It is a quiet, relaxing area. Enjoyable to stay here. The hosts are close by if anything is needed.

Excellent Place to Stay!

My husband and I stayed for 3 weeks. We had friends over for meals and a couple stayed with us for a week. We all thoroughly enjoyed the home and surroundings. Lots of wildlife! Great hiking in the Tucson area. This home is a 1/2 hour drive outside of Tucson in the country. Very quiet…except for birds and coyotes! Thank you for a great stay! S & C

A Retreat in the Desert

Such an amazing place. And such amazing, caring landlords. Every morning was awakening to the cacophony of every kind of Arizona songbird. The decor was creative & a feast to the eye, and comfortable besides. The kitchen was well stocked and never once did we reach for something we needed that it wasn't there. Thank you Jim and Sandy! You took wonderful care of us all.

WE have always loved the Sonoran Desert and have visited for the last 25 years. We built a home in 2000 and have split our time between here and our other home in Oregon. This property came available in 2008 and we just had to incorporate it with our existing property

What makes this property unique

WE enjoy the abundant sunshine and excellent weather that the desert offers. We enjoy the wild life that roams here. We also love the hiking and year round outside activities.
