Shhh! Mt Washington is one of Vancouver Island's best kept secrets. This family oriented ski hill boasted the 2nd largest snow pack during the 2010 Olympics. Mt Washington is easily accessible driving directly from Victoria, BC , or it is a quick trip over on the ferry from the mainland. During the summer it is a destination for hikers and mountain bikers as they explore the slopes of the mountain or the world renowned Strathcona Park. During the winter it is a magical snowy wonderland.

This beautiful new and modern townhouse offers families a wonderful place to relax. Located perfectly between the cross country lodge and the alpine resort, this drive-in, ski-out townhouse is a treat. Views of Strathcona Park dazzle non skiers and skiers alike. In the winter the home is perfectly set up for families who can quickly escort their children right across the street to the nearest chair lift, and quickly back again for apres ski when the day is done.

In the summer you can dine 'al fresco' on the patio after a day of hiking, fishing or biking and revel in the peace and serenity offered. Ample storage is available in the garage to store all the toys you like to travel with.

This unit is one of two available ( side by side) for rent. Perfect for summer weddings and Christmas celebrations.
Well equipped, comfortable beds and 12 foot ceilings, this spacious townhouse will provide one of the most wonderful bases for your family vacation. Enjoy!!

A Happy Christmas
We enjoyed staying at this property a lot - a fun way to get everybody together for Christmas. The weather on Mount Washington was terrible, but that wasn’t our host’s fault. Fortunately, there was lots to do in and around the house, games, movies and fun things to take our minds off the fact that snow sports were out of the question.

Ideal get-away!
The property was exactly what we were looking for - lots of space, great for kids (lots of books, games, places to hide from parents) and everything we needed was there. Ideal location close to the Hawk chairlift; it was easy to use the magic carpets to get our kids to the ski lessons and easy for us to get on the mountain for our own skiing. Place was clean, well organized and had comfy beds. Fully recommend it!

We are a fun loving couple who enjoys our time with our children. We love to travel and our vacations are active.

Why they chose this property

We were excited to learn that there was a ski hill on Vancouver Island that was affordable to access and to teach our children how to ski. We have since learned that it is one of the nicest family oriented ski hills with a range of skiing from beginner to technical. It also has boasted some of the best snow in the province.

What makes this property unique

We couldn't believe how beautiful it was in the summer.
Instant access to trails and boardwalk area around Strathcona park in the summer. A beautiful place to be too to access day to Qualicum Beach, Courteney, Comox, Parksville and Campbell River by day but peace by night.
