Hillside is one of the largest [10,000sq ft] and most luxurious villas on St Kitts.

Stylish and spacious, Hillside has 4 bedrooms [+2 more rooms available on request in the lower apartment at additional cost] and sits on an amazing site offering uninterrupted views of Turtle Beach, Cockleshell bay and the Caribbean sea. One party can rent the villa only or the villa plus apartment at additional cost.

Completed in 2012 Hillside is situated in the exclusive Turtle Beach Estates on the South East Peninsula of St Kitts.

A luxury home from home, Hillside offers all the benefits of luxury villa living. Hillside features a stunning private 60 ft infinity edge swimming pool. A huge 30 ft fully folding nana window brings the panoramic views inside into the 60 ft cathedral ceilings in the main living area. This is ultra cool Caribbean luxury!

Dining is accommodated inside and outside. Off the pool a covered outside living area offers shade and seats 8/12. Enjoy cooling island breezes as you kick back and relax, letting our experienced island staff take care of your every need.

The indoor living room features oversized comfortable sofas. The 12 seat dining table off the kitchen enables your whole party to get together and enjoy quality time together whilst enjoying amazing panoramic sunsets.

A separate TV room and a separate pool room offer relaxing times and fun. Hi-End stereo equipment with an extensive music library is installed for music.

There is lots to do near Hillside: walk the rarely occupied Turtle Beach [yes turtles still nest here]; visit the best beach restaurants on the island , Reggae beach bar is a short walk/drive away for awesome cocktails and lunches; Spice Mill serves the best stone baked pizzas a 5 min stroll down Cockleshell Bay; watersports and deep sea fishing can be organised through Gary at Reggae Beach Bar. Golf is available at special guest rates $75/round at the exceptional Royal St Kitts Golf Club. The 18 hole championship course is an amazing golfing experience. Or you can just chill, read books, sunbathe and drink fine rum punch... the choice is yours.

Groceries can be purchased for you and charged to your account, or you can source them yourself from the local supermarket in Basseterre.

Frigate bay is about a 15 min drive, with plentiful bars and a variety of restaurants or venture further north, to Basseterre, for some authentic local flavour and freshly caught fish.

Amazing

We went to St Kitts to celebrate our grandmother’s 100th birthday and to have a family reunion. There were over 150 people staying in different locations and different parts of the island. We were the lucky ones to have chosen to stay at Hillside Villa. When you look at the pictures online, it doesn’t do it justice. It’s an amazing, beautiful and well designed villa. It is huge. It has all the home comforts you could ask for. From the very beginning of the booking Susie was so helpful, approachable and informative and I felt at ease knowing that I would be well supported and looked after. Susie informed us that we would have to have 4x4s to get to the villa as the hill was very steep; however, after two or three goes it became ok. We arrived in St Kitts at 5.30pm and Susie was there to meet us with her property manager Franklin. They had especially come out to meet us as the car hire company had let us down and we were kind of stranded which was very upsetting as we had young children with us. Susie and her A-Team rallied round took half of the party with the young children back to the villa whilst Franklin the property manager took us to the supermarket to get food for the night. They were absolute stars. We found out later that Susie had a spent a lot of time trying to sort out the car hire problem on our behalf. This was over and above what we expected. It was getting dark by then and we were very unhappy about the car situation, however, we survived. The next morning when we work up we were able to see the luxurious surroundings we were in, even as a group we had no chance of getting under each other’s feet because of the vastness of the villa. The views were absolutely beautiful and you could actually see Nevis from the villa. Every room in the villa had a gorgeous view of the surrounding area. The infinity pool was fabulous and it was difficult trying to keep the children out of it. All the outdoor furniture was well placed around the villa so that you weren’t tired of sitting in the same place and you had several areas to choose from if you wanted to sit outside. The kitchen was well stocked with various pots, pans and dishes to cover our large group and more. The villa was great for entertaining guests and of course all the IT nerds in our group loved having the wifi! We were in the vicinity of some very good beaches and restaurants. Perfect Villa

This villa is in a quite location on the St Kitts peninsula and has fantastic views over the atlantic and carribean bays through the 30m folding doors. The view from the lounge/dining area is superb, this coupled with the very high ceiling makes this a great open space. Air con in the bedrooms is great and essential! The kitchen is very well equipped. Access to the villa is up a very steep hill, 4x4 is essential. In August both beaches where more or less empty, even on "Cruise" days as this is the off season and the penensula has limited accomodation at the moment. Roads are full of potholes and likely to remain so, until the area is developed. The owners, Susie and Nathan where in residence when we stayed and added where great hosts. Susie is a great source of local information. The villa manager, Avernice, looked after us throughout the stay - she was a great help, particulary the airport pick up and drop off. An exceptional villa in a beatiful unspoilt part of St Kitts. Highly recommended.

Amazing Views

We've stayed in a lot of places in the carribean and the views from the Hillside Villa are some of the best we've seen. We enjoyed our stay. The driveway is a little intimidating at first like others mentioned, but after a couple times it's fine. Brenda the property manager was very accommodating and even helped us schedule a few activities. It's not walkable but there are beaches and a few restaurants close by. A bit of a drive to the grocery store but the views make it all worth it!

Gorgeous view that I could look at for days

The view from this property is incredible. The doors that allow the full experience from the main living area are perfect. Brenda was amazing and responsive. The driveway was nerve wracking the first couple of times, but then we got used to it. Not much is walkable from here, but that’s a trade off for the setting. Would highly recommend this house!

Breathtaking Views but needs some TLC.....

We rented the main house and the Villa for our group of 12 adults. As advertised, the main house is Stunning! The kitchen is well equipped, BUT the sink is tiny and a challenge if you’re cooking for your group. The appliances could use some upgrades (main level 12 cup coffee maker overflowed if you made more than 10 cups, and the apartment (smaller) coffee maker had quite a bit of rust). In general, the house is showing its age, and can use some updating. The showers throughout had worn tiles, and older (clogged) shower heads. The wicker outdoor table under the covered porch is unravelling, the fridges didn’t have working water or ice makers (Brenda did have the water to the main level fridge fixed within a day of reporting it not working). The lighting in the main house was decorative, but not very bright, and it was difficult to see if you ate later, and impossible to play games in the main living room after dark. The apartment was Not up to par with the upper level (surprising since the $ per bedroom was identical). One bedroom had a musty smell that stayed throughout our trip, and unfortunately the AC in that room was older, and didn’t operate well for the 1st few days. The fridge was rusted and needs replacing. The shower heads throughout were calcified/clogged which didn’t help the low water pressure (Brenda replaced a few). Brenda was Outstanding and assisted us in a timely manner with all of our other smaller issues, and provided lots of help.
