Situated overlooking the quiet Turtle Beach Cove on the renowned South East Peninsula is a very peaceful and private charming cottage.

Enjoy your morning coffee while watching the pelicans dive for their breakfast. Keep an eye out for sea turtles on the amazing reef just below the cottage. Hummingbirds buzz around you in the gardens surrounding the cottage.

Have a sunset drink and be amazed at the outstanding view of Nevis in the distance. Watch the colors fade as yachts and sailing boats sail off into the blue caribbean waters at days end.

Ocean Song Villa and Cottage guests have the use of a private and spacious beach front lounge a few minutes walk away at the Turtle Beach Cottage. Villa and cottage guests along with the guests of the top floor apartment at Turtle Beach Cottage will enjoy the exclusive use of the spacious beach front lounge with honour bar, complimentary beach lounge chairs outdoor shower, washroom and full kitchen facilities perfect for whipping up a meal beachside. The best accessible coral reef on island for snorkelling is right outfront of the beach lounge. This is also one of the best bays on island for Kite Surfing.

Ocean Song Cottage is a island style designed cottage, with hard woods, natural stone, walliba shingle, granite, marble, and antique bricks and tiles, and hand cut stone. There is a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances. Antique and custom designed furnishings and prints, King Size bed, a selection of books and window seat. Outdoor shower with natural stone. A built in seating and lounging area with private garden. There is also high speed internet and Cable TV. The cottage sits upon the hillside next door to our main Ocean Song Villa (VRBO 379977). Let prevailing winds and ceiling fan will cool you as the waves lull you to sleep.
From the car park there are approximately 22 stone steps up to the cottage with no hand rails.
This cozy cottage, situated in lush tropical foliage with breathtaking Ocean views, is a few minutes walk to Turtle Beach which has one of the best coral reefs for snorkeling on the island.

Within a few minutes’ walk of the cottage you will be on the beach where you can snorkel, swim or relax under a shady tree, and enjoy the inviting views of the reef, Booby Island and Nevis directly in front. Or beach comb the shallow sandy pools and turtle grass beds along the shore.

Cockleshell Beach is approx. 15 minutes walk along the beach and across the dune. Reggae Beach Bar and Grill, Lion Rock and Spice Mill restaurants are all located there, where you will have your choice of beach casual or Gourmet. A wide variety of water sports are located at Cockleshell , as well as a sailing school. Water Taxis to Nevis are also available from Reggae Beach bar and the Drive on car Ferry is a 5 minute drive away at Majors Bay.

Frigate Bay, is a 15 minute drive away where you will find The St Kitts Marriott Resort and casino, as well as a variety of restaurants, shops, health spa, fitness center and 18 hole championship golf course.

Relaxing holiday in a beautiful location

From booking to arrival, Penny, Ricky and Franklin couldn’t have been more helpful or made our stay any better. We arrived on a busy Saturday evening, and by the time we’d cleared the airport and collected our hire car, it was after dark. Franklin, who manages the property, drove out to meet us, and show us to the property, which was such good - and unexpected - service. Ocean Song cottage is a wonderful place to stay. The views from inside the cottage and from the different terraced seating areas outside are amazing. There are even ocean and garden views from the open air shower! The cottage is well equipped, with all bed linen, bath and beach towels supplied. There is also a well equipped kitchen. Penny supplies a cell phone charged up and ready to make local calls, and she and Ricky are able to offer lots of advice about places to visit and restaurants and bars that are worth trying out. The gardens around the cottage are beautiful and very well kept. While you’re sat in the garden you’re sure to see humming birds and also the occasional monkey passing by. A short walk or drive down the very quiet road is the beach cottage, that you have use of while you are staying at Ocean Song. The beach cottage has a kitchen and toilet, and also an honesty bar that is very well equipped! It’s a lovely place to sit and chill, either inside or on the sunbeds outside. The beach cottage is right on the beach so you can literally step out into the ocean. We only had a week at Ocean Song Cottage, but would have loved to have stayed longer. It’s a very special place and we would highly recommend it.

A private retreat

Second time of renting this property. This time we took the cottage, which is the perfect retreat for two people. It has a lovely outdoor shower and great kitchen with all the condiments on hand. Their resident cat Pepper will be there to greet you:) Believe the pictures. The beach is secluded and a snorkelling paradise containing the only reef system accessible by beach on the Island. Sitings included, rays, turtles, and a wide range of reef fishes! The cottage is a wonderful hide away with various areas to sit outside. The owners (Penny and Ricky) take pride in what they do and are very genuine. They are one of the main reasons we returned. The beach lounge is a great addition and means you can take food down to the beach each day and also have a place to relax in the shade. There is a fully stocked honour bar as well as snorkelling equipment you can use. This is a grown up paradise for people that want to escape and unwind with little disturbance.

BETTER THAN ADVERTISED!!

This cottage was exactly as in the pictures. Except, the view are even BETTER than the pictures. I spent hours on the back terrace. I will never like showering indoors again!! The lounge was nice and right on the beach. Yellow and Sharon were very kind. Neither island is very cluttered with people.

Peaceful escape

We truly enjoyed our stay at this property. We hiked, swam, read and completely relaxed. The cottage had everything we needed and Ricky and Penny were the best hosts. A real treat to stay here.

Ricky and Penny built the first 4 Villas at Turtle Beach and have built several since. We kept the best property for ourselves and have built an ideal private island cottage on the grounds. Turtle Beach has over 20 villas now.

Why they chose this property

Turtle Beach is located on the South East Peninsula of
St Kitts which we think is the best part of the island. You will NEVER hear the ongoing NOISE of cars/trucks/motorcycles or experience traffic like the Frigate Bay area. It's all about the sounds of the surf, bird song and nature! 5 minutes drive will take you to some of the islands BEST restaurants and more fabulous beaches. A QUICK water taxi to our neighbouring island of NEVIS will bring you to more great restaurants, history and charm of the Caribbean!
