Vue incroyable

Fabulous Family Getaway
This property is beautiful and in a perfect spot for getting back to nature and exploring the Irish Loop. Great hiking and million dollar views. Seamless entry and house was as advertised and more. Lots to see and do in the area. Whale/puffin boat trips, Avalon Architectural dig, little coffee shops with wonderful home baked pastries and restaurants are all good. Worth the trip.

Nice views and good location
The house is set high on a hill overlooking a small cove. You can drive all along the coast to see and discover the Avalon Peninsula. The house itself was comfortable but too big for two people. The bathroom showers need upgraded along with the kitchen appliances ie. fridge/stove. Well equipped kitchen with more than you need. TV system is complicated.

Newfoundland shows the love
We went to Newfoundland with 3 things in mind, puffins, icebergs and ocean. We came away with much much more. Even though we were in the fog for two weeks, (didn't see one iceberg) the people, the food and the people (O' Sullivans song house) made our vacation one of the best two weeks we've ever had. The day we went out to see the puffins (Gatherall's Puffin & Whale) tour we went out in the fog. But when we got out in the ocean the sun came out. It was fantastic. We saw two large whales and lots and lots of birds including a bald eagle. Our stay at the Anchor Rock Lookout was magical. Darlene and her husband Randy went above and beyond. We'll miss the people most.

Beautiful relaxing stay
We had such a lovely time at the house. The house was very clean and really well stocked with all we needed in the kitchen and bathrooms. The views were of the ocean were spectacular and we managed to spot some whales from the window (it was the end of whale season). We felt very welcome by Darlene and Randy. Randy even showed us the local swimming spot, as well as some other points of interest. The house is on a harbor, so we had easy access to the Eastcoast Trail, which we hiked, and there was plenty to do within short driving distance. It was a very enjoyable time Newfoundland!
