Villa Oursinade overlooks the bay of Villefranche to Cap Ferrat and has been modernised to the highest standard. The location is perfect because it faces South, gets the sun all day and is only a 4 minute walk into the port with restaurants + shops + small supermarket . 100 metres from the beach so ideal for children . The train is a short walk and 2 stops from Nice or 6 stops to Monaco. Fully restored with marble and oak flooring throughout, fitted out with top of the range furniture and a Clive Christian kitchen. Side garden with large terrace plus two front terraces overlooking the sea. Garage for 1 car with further parking outside. Full WiFi , Sky Satellite TV, 3 bedrooms en-suite, + 2 bedrooms with bathroom beside. Perfect Air Con in every bedroom + lounge + kitchen. Heated salt (gated) swimming pool. This is one of the most outstanding villas in a quiet area . The views from this part of Villefranche are regarded as unrivaled anywhere in the word.

Best location + world class view. : This villa has been completely modernised to the highest possible standard and is very child friendly. The heated salt pool can be locked off for child security. Everything in the villa is new and nicely arranged as follows : Entrance from front patio to large lounge with fully fitted kitchen on the right. Bedroom 5 is off the lounge. Floor 1 has a large bright hallway with the main bedroom off. This bedroom has a huge bed with special quilted underlay + 4 windows overlooking the bay. There is a terrace outside. Bedroom 2 is opposite with main bathroom off it. Laundry area is on floor 1. Floor 2 has bedroom 3 and 4 with a terrace and garden off to the side.

Very central. : Villefranche is very central to all the exciting areas along the Cote d'Azur. It is located on the coast road between Nice and Monaco and is particularly suitable for children as the station and buses are very close . Villefranche is a very historic location .... walk along 'Rue Obscure' to get some idea of France in the 14 the century. There are 2 old forts . The Old Town (4 minutes walk) has a bakery, small supermarket, newsagent, pub, many restaurants , art galleries etc. This is not just a tourist village ... most of the occupants live there.

Free parking: The kitchen and bathrooms are fitted out to the highest standard. The most impressive feature is the commanding view and the quiet location yet close to all the restaurants and shops. Parking outside is in a garage and on the road if you have a second car. Shopping can be in the Old Town or a bigger supermarket in Beaulieu-sur-Mer (1 stop) , next to the train station.

Wonderful Villa, Best Location

This villa is amazing. We stayed over Christmas 2014. There was 2 families , 8 in total. The villa is set on 3 levels and is equipped with everything you need. The views are to die for looking over the bay at Villefranche and out to Cap Ferat. We did a tour with Premium Riviera Tours which was great, they picked us up at the door and dropped us back. The train line is right near the villa so it is easy to go to Nice,Monaco, Menton and even Italy !! The supermarket in Nice -Carrefour -even did a free drop off of all our shopping which was a great help. The area is very hilly and there is lots of steps/stairs so wear flat shoes as you will get plenty of exercise. Villefranche Village is medieval so there is small alleyways and a maze of streets but it is absolutely beautiful.We eat/shopped quite a lot in the village with everybody being so welcoming. The villa does seem expensive ,but when you work out the price per person and for why you get it actually isn't. We had a wonderful time and will treasure precious memories of the time we had.Would highly recommend.

Oursinade in Villefranche

After twenty-six of travelling the world, my husband & I can now say that we had the trip of a lifetime. We spent seven weeks in Villefranche, on the French Riviera, in an absolutely spectacular villa - L'Oursinade. I write a monthly cooking column & required a good, modern kitchen; indeed, I got the perfect, large granite workplace that I needed with a window looking out to the Mediterranean. The bathrooms are beautifully renovated in creamy marble & all 3 levels have soaring ceilings with views over the sea. We look forward to our return visit next year & highly recommend this villa to any prospective renters.

Wonderful

My wife and I have been going to Villefranche for many years. I can confirm to everyone that this is one of the best villas that we have ever stayed in during our business trips and holidays in Villefranche. We were looked after by the excellent management team. The owners were very charming and helpful. The location of the villa for the beach and the charming Old Town is a very short walk. There is a small supermarket within walking distance. The villa is spotless, beautifully furnished and equipped with all the necessary utensils. We will keep going there every year. We highly recommend this villa - don't take our word for it - see for yourselves!

Best Christmas and New Year

My family and I decided to spend Christmas and New Year in Villefranche and it turned up to be a wonderful experience. We were greeted very joyfully by the management team that look after the villa. The villa itself was spotless, full of modern equipment and beautiful furnishings.

The distance to the Port is a 4 minute walk from the villa which made my husband and the children very happy. Villefranche was very festive, with beautiful Christmas lights and decorations. Definately, I recommend this villa and I am sure we will be a regular clients

The reason for this property is the location. It is genuinly in the best part of the best village on the Cote d'Azur and one strong feature is the proximity to restaurants , shops etc.

Nearest Airport : Nice at 11 Kilometres Nearest Barpub : Beachfront.... several at 150 Metres Nearest Ferry : Nice at 9 Kilometres Nearest Golf : at 15 Kilometres Nearest Train : Villefranche at 100 Metres Nearest Motorway : A8 at 3 Kilometres Nearest Restaurant : Carpaccio at 100 Metres Nearest Ski : Auron at 90 Kilometres Nearest Beach : Villefranche Beach at 100 Metres Car: not necessary

Villefranche is considered the most picturesque village on the Cote d'Azur and is located between Nice and Monaco with a fascinating Old Town + port. The villa is only a 3 minute walk to the beach and 4 minutes to the port. Villefranche is truly one of the world's great locations and this villa is in the best part ..... quiet, sunny, world class view and easy walk to the train. Bakery, and supermarket are also nearby. A car is not needed here although there is a garage + plenty of free parking outside. Cap Ferrat is on the opposite side of the bay and Beaulieu-sur-Mer is a 15 min walk along the seafront.

Other Activities: All beach activities.

Golf: There are several golf courses nearby.

Ski: Skiing is good from December - March and is 90 km away in Auron, Isola or Limona
