About this property

Albatross Nest epitomizes Caribbean style living with truly breath taking 180-degree views from the property's open and elevated terraces. Enjoy magical sunset drinks with views of the island of Martinique in one direction and Pigeon Island National Park and Rodney Bay in the other.

Albatross Nest is our dream home - perfect views, distinctive open plan architecture, traditional Caribbean shingled buildings and beautiful tropical garden. Enjoy classic barefoot charm and listen to the sounds of nature and the sea below.

The property is secluded and provides perfect privacy - it is only ever rented to a single party/group. Its layout means that it is equally suited to 2 guests as much as it is for larger groups of up to 8 guests.

The villa was designed by architect, Robertson Ward, who designed the original Sandy Lane hotel in Barbados. Three buildings are linked by covered walkways around the large, private, central pool. The design is perfect for a tropical, outdoor lifestyle and the pool is spanned by an attractive bridge which creates a romantic environment.

Albatross Nest is located in the North West corner of the Cap Estate which is generally regarded as the premier residential area of St. Lucia.

The property is a very short drive to Pigeon Island beach, Anse Du Cap beach and Cas en Bas beach. The 18 hole golf course at the St. Lucia Golf and Country Club, snorkeling, scuba diving, kitesurfing, horse riding on the beach, tennis club and an award winning spa, as well as many of the island's best restaurants are all within a ten minute drive.

Maid service is provided 5 days a week. The gardener is at the property 2 days a week. The property has a security system. The pool is unfenced and deep so the property is not suitable for guests under the age of ten.

The property is managed by Kris Wagner who will welcome you to the property and advise on any aspects of your vacation. Kris and her team are on call 7 days a week to ensure that you have a wonderful holiday in St. Lucia.

A pre-stocking service is available so that when you arrive at the villa you do not immediately have to go shopping - you can immediately relax, unwind and enjoy the view.

Perfect accomodation

The best thing about this property is its location. Overlooking the sea with stunning views of the Pigeon Island and the harbour, it’s spacious, clean and beautifully kept with lots of outside space to enjoy the views. The staff are friendly and very helpful and security is given the highest priority.

Classic Caribbean Villa, perfect for families

Albatross Nest was all we hoped for plus a load more - the photos really do it justice and, I promise you, the views across to Rodney Bay are that good 😁 Arriving at the villa in our hire car directly from the airport after darkness and up the very steep drive, is certainly not to be recommended but other than that we really couldn't fault it - fabulous layout of four rooms around a pool and then a huge living area totally open to the surrounds. Our family group with young all in their 20's just loved the space to relax in, whether in the pool, on the loungers or remote working from the dining table. Kris, the property manager, was in easy contact and soon got us organised...Ivy, the maid who comes in five mornings a week, was delightful and was a mine of information. We honestly left the property with heavy hearts and know where to stay next time we're in the Caribbean 🏝️

Fantastic villa!

We had a wonderful stay at Albatross Nest! Kris was really helpful and knowledgeable, and it was lovely to have Ivy come by each weekday to freshen up the villa. The views were unbeatable and it was such a peaceful location. Took taxis (Donald was brilliant) into town when needed and walked down to The Naked Fisherman one evening. The setting was perfect, the staff were friendly and the food and drinks were amazing. Couldn’t recommend this villa enough!

Remote working

Albatross Nest is a gem - a traditional built island heaven.in a private location which gets the top of island Atlantic Breeze. Our trial remote working in St Lucia for 18 days prior to our annual vacation here was a real success . It’s lateral layout where we could each have dedicated workspace, combined with great wifi really helped. All service was exemplary and unobtrusive. The experience doesn’t come any better for us - a real find .

A stunning villa

8 of us had a wonderful time. Odessa cooked us some superb food. Ivy and Michael, the Villa staff, could not have been more helpful. Kris the manager, went the extra mile. The villa is really well appointed and the views are unforgettable. One tip - get a front wheel or 4WD vehicle. The road up is steep and challenging in a rear wheel drive car or van

Kris Wagner professionally manages the property which belongs to an English couple who have been visiting St Lucia for the past 20 years. We fell in love with the island and after a very long search we finally found our dream home which we purchased in December 2009.
We look forward to being able to spend much more time in our beautiful home in St. Lucia when we retire but in the meantime we are making it available for holiday rentals when we are not there .

The property has one of the best sea views we have seen on the island. The sunset views are amazing. The property provides a restful, private location but good restaurants and a variety of activities are available within a ten minute drive.
