In southern Tenerife, about 450 m above the sea, at the entrance to the city of San Miguel you will find this newly built small apartment house from 1996. San Miguel is a grown city with shopping facilities and a few bars/bodegas with typical food. It is an ideal starting point for excursions and beautiful hikes. The city is only 12 km from the Playa del Medano (windsurfing centre) and 20 km from the large tourism centres in the south. The spacious apartment has a living/dining room, kitchenette and 1 bedroom and SAT-TV. In front of the furnished terrace you will find a solar heated pool. The popular house is visited by a lot of regular guests.

Almost like home!🚌Very clean, fairly spacious.

Quite possibly the best apartment in the block. Very good reception. We would return. But for a 2 or 3 day stay as in February it is quite cool compared with the coast west of Los Abrigos. Very pleasant staff, Kristine and Jonathan to greet us and attend to anything. No English TV. A fe more electric sockets needed. We enjoyed our stay very much despite the cooler cloudy weather.

Beautiful place

Spotlessly clean, well laid out apartment with its own balcony and sun terrace. Lovely little communal garden and pool. Perfectly situated away from the flesh pots in a small village with all required amenities. Karin was kind and could not have done more for us. We would definitely go back and recommend this place for anyone wanting a peaceful base for walking, cycling and exploring the island. Less than 20 minutes from the airport, convenient for motorway access and even handy for Siam water park without having to be anywhere near the tourist zone.

Good value clean apartment

We were very pleased with our apartment at Casa San Miguel and thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Karin, the owner, was lovely and helpful. Her english is fairly good so there is no major problem with communication if you're English. The apartment was clean, comfortable and good value for money. You will need a hire car to stay here and word of warning San Miguel is very hilly! Not that this bothered us at all but a few notes for other reading this - the wifi connection was not good (had to stand outside and still very slow) and the satellite TV is all german channels apart from euronews, which is not particularly interesting! We didn't see any table tennis (but could be in storage) but we did see a pool table and the bbq and the pool looked very clean. Our particular apartment did not have a washing machine or clothes dryer. You can arrange to have fresh bread delivered every morning which is a great service. We visited 3 restaurants in San Miguel which all did good local canarian food (10 mins walk away). We wish we had visited El Rincon del Ron, which is a cellar bar next to La Vieja Bodega, earlier in the week, as our waiter/bar tender was very friendly & kept giving us free shots! San Miguel is a quiet village (well it was in October) but it has a supermarket open every day (10 mins walk up steep hills!) and there are cash machines & a bakery near there as well. Without doubt the best attraction in Tenerife is El Teide, the national park at the top of the mountain (45 mins drive from San Miguel) - amazing scenery and if San Miguel is in cloud then you can rise above it up there into glorious sunshine. Don't bother with the pyramids up the coast - we personally thought it was a rip-off

Very nice and comfortable stay

We enjoyed our stay at Casa San Miguel. Very clean and nice apartment and Karin is extremely friendly and helpful. We found small restaurants and good shops on the main street of San Miguel and it is only 10 min. drive down to the main commercial center near the highway 1. We can recommend Casa San Miguel.
