günstig gelegener Ausgangspunkt für die Erkundung des Westens von Sizilien und Palermo

Der Empfang durch unsere Gastgeber, die im selben Objekt wohnen, war mehr als herzlich, sie standen uns in allen Fragen zur Seite. Mit Giovanni war die Unterhaltung in deutsch möglich. Balstrate ist ein verkehrstechnisch günstiger Ausgangspunkt, um den Westen Siziliens zu erkunden. Der Ort ist touristisch wenig verfälscht und gibt einen guten Eindruck über die sizilianische Dorfgemeinschaft. Er bietet erstaunlich viele günstige Restaurants.
