It is an old rectory and is located on the border between Liguria and Tuscany on a hill with a beautiful view of the valley of the Magra and the Appuan mountains. The sea and the Cinque Terre area are 30 minutes away by car. Nestled in the small town of Oppilo, surrounded by typical vineyards, chestnut forests and meadows devoured by sheep, it is a romantic place (medieval Borgo) to retreat from everyday life. Ideal for walks in an area not affected by traffic. The 12 people who still live in this place are happy to give you an insight into their everyday life if you approach them openly and with a few Italian words. I personally am in town all summer.
On the other hand, you can also take day trips to the largest aquarium in Europe to Genoa, Florence, Lucca, Pisa or the Cinque Terre. The beaches of the Versiglia are also not far away. There are 2-3 nature parks for hiking, which are not overcrowded even in summer. Ideal for day trips.
There is a double and a triple room available for guests, which can accommodate up to 5 people. It has a large living room, a kitchen and of course a bathroom. The house is furnished quite simply, but has everything you need. The entire house is rented. In the garden there are some herbs and a grill. This and the terrace are at the guests' free disposal and ensure total relaxation in a private atmosphere.
